So hello and good morning or good afternoon to you beautiful mamas-to-be.
Hello to your babies as well.
Welcome to today's meditation which will be our Heart-Womb-River meditation.
This is a beautiful guidance to make you discover and explore those two beautiful spaces within your being,
Your heart and your womb.
Very powerful spaces filled with energies and they have a correspondence,
A connection between one another.
Between them flows a canal of energy,
A river,
And it flows in both directions,
Heart to womb and womb to heart.
And when we are pregnant,
These two energy centers are very active and maybe you can feel it even just intuitively,
That there is so much love being generated by you,
By your body,
By your heart pouring to your body,
Towards your baby,
Hopefully some of it towards yourself as well.
And your womb is also creating miracles and working very hard and housing your baby and nourishing your baby,
Keeping him warm and protected and happy,
Him or her.
So you maybe feel this intensity in those areas of your body and sometimes they might be even more active than others.
I remember for myself feeling a lot of energy at the level of my womb in the first trimester of pregnancy,
Because yeah,
This is a trimester where nothing is visible yet,
But inside it felt like wow,
A tsunami and so much was going on.
So yes,
This is a beautiful time for you to feel into those spaces,
To discover them,
To explore them and to just activate your awareness of them.
And this meditation is designed to do that.
So I'm gonna invite you to come into a sitting position,
Sitting cross-legged on the floor,
Ideally,
So you're really close to the ground,
Close to mother earth,
And you're very welcome to prop yourself up on a cushion or several cushions if you need that to feel more comfortable.
And you're also welcome to place some cushions under your knees to support them.
But we want to be in a really beautiful,
Balanced,
Upright sitting position here.
And once you're here,
Close your eyes,
Turn your attention inwards to your body and relax the whole body.
Relaxing all the muscles of the face,
The muscles of the eyes,
Eyebrows,
Eyelids,
Temples,
And relaxing the jaw,
Letting it hang a little bit,
Letting the tongue relax back down into the throat.
And relaxing the neck,
Front and back,
And the shoulders,
Letting the shoulders rest and hang.
They carry so much,
So just letting them rest now.
And then relaxing the belly,
Sending a few little loving messages to your babies,
And feeling the weight of your body on the supports beneath you,
On the ground,
The cushions,
Feeling your body get heavy with each breath out a little heavier.
A little more settled and relaxed.
And relax also the pelvic floor,
And relax the chest,
The lungs,
The heart,
And relax the brain.
And whatever thoughts or activity still remains there,
Just simply let it be.
Let things be as they are.
And let the mind sink down now.
Into the heart,
Bringing your awareness there,
And staying here,
In the heart.
A sense of warmth maybe,
Coming back home.
Of being at peace here.
The heart is your core,
Your center.
So just resting in the heart,
As if there was a little hammock there that you can simply climb into,
To rest.
Letting your breath caress the heart,
With each breath caressing,
Massaging your heart,
And allowing it to soften.
Slowly,
Slowly open.
How is your heart today?
Does it feel closed,
Tensed maybe,
Or numb?
Or does it feel tender,
Receptive?
Alive and expansive.
Listen to your heart,
Without judgment,
Without expectations.
Simply listen to your heart.
Letting go of your emotions.
Simply caressing,
Listening,
Being present with what is there.
Any sensations,
Feelings,
Or thoughts that arise.
Simply being present,
Allowing and welcoming each one,
With curiosity and openness,
And continuing to breathe.
And continuing to listen.
Hello heart,
I am here.
I'm here for you.
And slowly feeling the heart as it softens,
A little bit maybe.
Becoming more alive.
And with this aliveness,
Feeling love arise from the heart.
Love,
Energies,
Warmth.
And feeling this love growing and expanding beyond the heart to the whole body.
Feeling it flow to all parts of the body.
And feeling it descend into the womb space.
Bringing and concentrating these energies into the womb space.
Settling your awareness there.
You can bring your hands to your womb in a yoni mudra,
Making this triangle with your fingers,
The tips of your thumbs touching,
The tips of your fingertips touching.
And placing the palms onto your womb,
Feeling the touch and the warmth.
Connecting with that sacred space.
This other core center of your being.
Your feminine core.
One of the seats of your intuition,
Wisdom and power.
Your beautiful womb.
This temple which is literally housing a new life,
A new little being.
This place of miracles.
Keeping your awareness there,
I invite you to start rocking your pelvis back and forth,
Forward and back.
Just rocking very slightly,
Very gently.
There is no rush,
Just a very minute movement.
There's a slight arch of the back when you rock forwards,
A very slight rounding of the lower back when you rock backwards.
Belly coming forwards and back.
Rocking on your own pace.
Activating the energies of your womb.
Becoming aware of every sensation,
Every feeling or emotion that arises.
Aware of the sensations in your pelvis,
Hips,
Sacrum,
Pelvic floor,
Womb,
And in the organs.
Keep breathing with the movement.
Don't hold your breath.
We all have different relationships with our womb,
With our yoni,
Which is the Sanskrit word for body and mind.
With our womb,
With our yoni,
Which is the Sanskrit word,
Quite often we have complicated relationships with her.
So feeling into this space,
Listen to her messages,
Her wisdom.
And simply tune into her and be open to receiving.
Let yourself move in the way your body craves,
In the way the body wants to move,
Faster or slower.
Let your womb guide you,
Let your womb decide.
Let yourself go.
Let the energies arise.
The heat maybe,
Other sensations,
However pleasant or unpleasant.
Let it flow.
Let them come.
And now becoming still again,
Letting the movement diminish,
Coming back to immobility,
Sitting here,
And noticing any sensations or energies that is flowing through you,
Noticing the activation at the level of the womb space,
Allowing her energies to expand beyond the womb into all areas of your body,
And up into your heart,
Nourishing your heart,
Empowering your heart.
Bringing now one hand to the heart and keeping the other one on your womb if it was already there.
Connecting both spaces of your being together.
Letting this river of energy flow.
From the womb to the heart,
The canal is open.
Letting the love of the heart flow down into the womb,
Showering the womb,
Filling up the womb with love.
Showering your baby with love,
The same way you shower your baby with love.
Showering the womb,
Filling up the womb with love.
Showering your baby with love at the same time.
And then letting that power,
That nourishment of the womb come back up to the heart,
To strengthen the heart,
To open the heart even further.
Feeling this cycle,
Both shining bright,
Both alive,
And giving you the power,
The direction,
To be the mother you want to be.
To have that power of resilience,
Of acceptance,
That power of softness,
That power of your intuition.
To know what is a yes and what is a no for you.
That power to embrace,
That power to take action when action is needed.
Feeling this power and this love shine inside you.
And keeping this activation alive and open,
We will gently end the meditation.
I invite you to slowly open your eyes again,
Come back into this world,
Into the room,
The space where you are.
Welcoming each and everything that meets your eye.
Noticing and feeling that this power and this knowledge is still there.
It's still bright.
It's still active.
With that knowledge,
