Today I invite you to see how fast you can surrender to rest.
In about one minute you will hear a bell followed by the sound of water.
I invite you to get comfortable,
As comfortable as possible.
If you have the space and you are seated or still,
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Check in with your breath and notice how you feel right now.
This may be a good time to set an intention for your practice today.
How fast can you surrender to peace,
To ease,
To rest?
Allow your thinking mind to relax.
I'll keep the time and let you know when it's time to come back.
We are coming to the end of our meditation.
In about one minute you will hear a bell letting you know that it's time to come back.
Giving yourself the opportunity to come back into the world.
Rock your right ear over towards your right shoulder.
Inhale and as you exhale rock your left ear over towards your left shoulder.
Rotate your ankles inside,
Outside.
Maybe clapping your feet together,
Knocking your knees,
Wiggling your fingers,
Fluttering your eyelids open and coming back into the world.
Use this restorative energy to carry you throughout the rest of your day,
Week,
Or month.
