Hi,

I'm Jen and thank you for joining me in meditation today.

I invite you to find a comfortable seat or a place to lay as you come into this space.

Today we are exploring the word insufficient.

The dictionary definition of insufficient is not enough or inadequate.

Take a moment and think about that for a second.

Sustained by dictionary definition means not enough or inadequate.

As you find comfort in this space where you are today,

I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze as you journey inward and explore what this word insufficient means for you and if you've ever felt insufficient in any area.

As you find your relaxing space and allow the thoughts in your head to slow down,

Maybe you unclench your jaw and unwrinkle your forehead.

Maybe you inhale lifting your shoulders up towards your ears and as you exhale roll them down your back creating space in your chest.

Connect with your breath taking an inhale through your nose and holding for one,

Two,

Three,

Four and exhaling slowly for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Doing that a couple more times breathing in for one,

Two,

Three,

Four and exhaling for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

One last breath at your own count inhale,

Exhale.

Taking note of your breath coming back to this idea of insufficiency.

Who told you you weren't enough?

What happened that made you feel like you were inadequate?

In what areas of your life do you feel that you are not enough?

How can you rewrite your narrative?

As we come to the end of our meditation I'd like to leave you with a quote by an unknown author.

Don't worry about hard times because some of the most beautiful things we have in life come from changes or mistakes.

Take your time coming back into the world.

As you maybe rock your head from side to side or scrunch your shoulders up towards your ears to invite some movement back into your body.

Thank you so much for allowing me to guide you through meditation today.

Again,

My name is Jen and until next time you determine your worth.

I like the simple theme allowing my mind to explore. Too often teachers try to cover all the possible bases of what I might be dealing with and that doesnโ€™t work for me. This allowed me to let go and feel what came up.
