Hi,

It's Julie Potichur for the Balanced Mind Meditation Center.

Let's close our eyes or a gentle downward gaze and we're going to take three gorgeous,

Safe affirming breaths in for four and out for six.

Breathing in for four,

Breathing out for six.

Okay,

Letting your breath find its natural rhythm.

Relaxing your eyebrows and your eyes.

Relaxing your face and your jaws.

Releasing your teeth.

And then closing your mouth gently,

Letting your teeth still stay parted and imagining a slight smile to the outside corners of your lips.

And then dropping that smile down into your throat and your neck,

Softening and smoothing.

As you drop your smile down into your heart,

Letting your shoulder blades move down your back,

Keeping that chest nice and open.

Dropping down now into your belly and letting it soften.

Releasing your hips into what is supporting you,

Giving yourself a little wiggle to the right and to the left just to really get comfortable on your sit bones.

Have a strong foundation.

Coming back to the center and then letting your thighs relax and your knees,

Your calves and your feet.

And then allowing relaxation to flow from your shoulders down your arms to your fingertips.

If your body needs to rock a little bit,

Allowing it to do that.

I don't know why sometimes mine needs to.

And then softening your hands and placing a hand or hands where you find it soothing.

Whether it's on your heart or cradling your face or hugging your arms or just holding your hands.

Hands could be on your belly,

Wherever it is that's supportive and loving.

Just as a reminder to yourself that you're giving yourself this time.

What a gift.

What an awesome thing to do.

It helps you.

It helps us.

It helps all.

Relaxing your hands to your lap when they're weary and resting your awareness on your breath.

Noticing the gap before you inhale and then you're sliding up the inhale,

The gap and then you're sliding down the exhale.

Now placing your attention around your tailbone where your roots chakra is,

Your earth chakra is and imagining that radiating a warm golden light.

Honoring the earth.

Keeping your awareness up slightly behind your belly button near your spine to your splenic chakra which is honoring your creative.

We've lit up in this warm golden light our root chakra and now keeping that light glowing we also have a warm healing golden light on our splenic chakra honoring the creative.

Moving the awareness up around your solar plexus honoring your life force chakra.

Light it up like a candle.

So you've got this warm beam of light.

Now moving up to your heart chakra.

So much to honor there.

Continuing up to your throat chakra honoring our communication.

And this glowing beam of light is now reaching your third eye.

And the very top of your head the crown chakra.

And now imagining this light beam extending from your root chakra down and from your crown chakra up.

So you've got this beam going down and going up.

You're just this light beam of health and healing and love.

You can contemplate the particles of this beam.

And the connectedness of this beam to all other beams.

And if it's esoteric and your mind wanders and you'd like to have a word to go with your beam.

Your radiating beam it could be love or light or peace or ease.

You could be imagining this beam.

Taking the words in and gifting the words out.

If your mind wanders just gently coming back knowing that your particles of love and light imagining you are lit up and shining out.

From the bottom of your root chakra up through the top of your crown chakra extending into the universe.

And yet in this body you're breathing in love or hope or peace and you're breathing out similarly gorgeous wishes and prayers letting your light shine.

Dropping back down into the meditation.

Allowing yourself to be this light.

Breathing in love breathing out love.

Bearing the beams of love and we are put on earth a little space that we might learn to bear the beams of love William Blake that we might learn to bear the beams of love.

Gerald May in the Awaken Heart says there's a desire within each of us in the deep center of ourselves that we call our heart.

We were born with it.

It is never completely satisfied and it never dies.

We are often unaware of it but it is always awake.

It's the human desire for love.

Every person on this earth yearns to love to be loved to know love our true identity our reason for being is to be found in this desire.

He says I think William Blake was right about the purpose of humanity.

We're here to learn to bear the beams of love.

There are three meanings of bearing love to endure it to carry it and to bring it forth in the first we're meant to grow in our capacity to endure love's beauty and pain in the second we're meant to carry love and spread it around as children carry laughter and measles and in the third we're meant to bring new love into the world to be birthers of love.

This is the threefold nature of our longing.

Gerald May the Awaken Heart in the last few moments here of the meditation breathing in love for ourselves breathing out love for the planet.

We are here to learn to bear the beams of love to endure love's beauty and pain in the first we're meant to bear the beams of love to endure love's beauty and pain in the second we're meant to bear the beams of love to endure love's beauty and pain in the second we're meant to bear the beams of love to endure love's beauty and pain in the to just blow through like clouds on the big sky of your mind.

It's just weather.

It's just weather.

It's just weather.

It's just weather.

It's just weather.

It's just weather.

It's just weather.
