Hello dear ones and welcome to this meditation.
Go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable position.
So take your time.
Set up your space to not be disturbed for the next 10 minutes or so.
Maybe light a candle or burn some Palo Santo.
Just make this a little ritual,
Just you with you.
And as you really land in that comfortable position,
Allow your body to settle.
If it's comfortable,
Close down your eyes.
Otherwise,
Find a gaze at one point.
And encourage a deep,
Slow breath in.
And a long,
Soft breath down.
Again deep breath in slow,
Long release.
One more.
Let yourself fully arrive here,
All parts of you.
So imagine just calling back all your energy from all the places that you've been,
All the conversations that you've had,
All parts of you coming back to this moment here and now.
Fully arriving.
You don't need to solve anything in this moment.
You don't need to know what comes next.
For these next few moments,
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Just here.
Now stay with your breath.
Perhaps it's the expansion and the softening of the body.
Perhaps it's the breath moving in and out of the nostril.
Find a part of the breath that anchors you in the body in the now.
As you continue to breathe.
Bring your awareness to the center of your body.
So we'll all feel that slightly different.
So perhaps for you,
It's the heart space.
Perhaps it's the belly.
Or somewhere else that feels like your centre.
Feel into that space,
Stay with your breath.
And imagine there is a small flame here.
A warm,
Steady flame.
Your own inner fire.
The part of you that knows what feels alive.
Part of you that knows what feels true?
What makes you feel like you?
Take a breath into that flame.
And as you breathe out,
Allow it to grow a little brighter.
Continue breathing in this flame.
And just ponder the things that light you up.
The people.
Places.
The experiences,
You might feel a smile coming across your face.
The dreams.
The ideas.
The little moments,
The tiny little moments that make you feel more alive.
Without analysing them,
Just simply notice what comes.
And ask yourself.
What makes me feel alive?
Staying with your breath,
That flame,
Allowing whatever comes up to come up.
What makes me feel alive.
Next,
What am I hungry for?
What am I hungry for?
What am I desiring?
Perhaps something comes immediately,
Or perhaps nothing at all,
But both are okay,
Just noticing.
And the last question,
What part of me is asking to be expressed?
Perhaps a part has been pushed down or suppressed.
In hibernation,
What part of me is asking to be expressed?
You're not forcing an answer,
Just listening as you breathe.
Bring your awareness to where you are right now in life.
This exact moment in your life.
Not needing it to be different,
Not needing yourself to be further ahead or X or whatever the case is.
Just noticing where you are right now without comparing to where you thought you would be.
Just allowing yourself to acknowledge.
This is where I am.
Take a breath.
Soften around that truth.
Not needing to love every single part of where you are.
But just also not fighting against the reality of this moment.
So feel the ground beneath you,
Feel yourself held.
That little flame in your center,
Your breath.
And let yourself be supported by what is already here.
Now imagine gathering into your hands everything that you've been trying to control.
You might see yourself scooping them into the center.
Things that you can't change.
Perhaps other people's choices or opinions.
Big one,
The timing of things.
Outcomes.
The past,
The future.
All those little pieces that we try and control and fix to be a certain way.
And anything that you've been carrying that was never truly yours.
So imagine holding all of this in your hands.
And with your next exhale let your hands open.
Let it fall.
You don't have to push it away.
You don't have to fix it.
Just release your grip.
And breathe.
Let what is not yours to control back to life.
And feel the space that becomes available when you stop holding so tightly.
Bring your attention back to your inner flame.
Perhaps it's a little brighter.
And now some more questions.
What is mine to choose?
Not what I can control.
Not what I can guarantee.
But what is mine to choose?
Perhaps this is a direction.
A boundary.
Our first step.
A conversation.
Perhaps it's simply choosing to trust yourself and accept where you are.
And just allow whatever comes to come.
You don't even need to know the path,
You just need to know that one spot.
One little bit of passion guiding the way.
Clarity for that next step.
And breathe and feel yourself supported and so held.
As you just repeat the following affirmations after me.
I trust myself to know my way forward.
I honour the fire within me.
I allow myself to want what I want.
I'm allowed to change direction to pivot.
I accept where I am while remaining open to where I am going.
I release what is not mine to control.
I choose where I place my energy.
I trust that clarity can unfold one step at a time.
I am enough,
Exactly where I am.
I am choosing myself.
And encouraging a slower,
Deeper breath in.
And a longer,
Softer breath out.
Feeling yourself so held,
So supported,
Grounded.
That gorgeous little flame within you.
You don't need to force anything,
You don't need to prove anything,
It's already there.
Your power doesn't have to look a certain way.
Your clarity doesn't have to be clear all at once.
Your next step doesn't have to be the whole journey.
You can move forward from exactly where you are.
That little spark guiding the way.
With trust.
Clarity.
Open hands that aren't gripping.
Let's together take three final breaths,
Deep breath in.
Long slow breath out.
Two last ones.
Biggest release yet,
Maybe make some sound with this final exhale.
Some gentle movement back into the body.
Reorient yourself and your space.
Gently open the eyes if they're not there.
Give yourself gratitude for taking this time.
Welcome back dear ones.
