Beginning with the breath,

Turning your attention now to your breathing.

The natural in-breath,

Natural out-breath.

Just watching your breath,

Just noticing it.

Bring your attention to the sounds around you,

The sounds outside of the room,

The sounds inside of the room.

Just noticing,

Listening,

Observing any sound,

Welcoming the sounds,

Accepting any sounds there are,

Just with a gentle observation without any judgment.

Becoming present here and now.

This present moment,

Now with three deep breaths,

Relax your body.

Breathe in and as you breathe out,

Let go of any tension in the body.

Allow the muscles to soften,

Loosen and relax.

Take a deep breath in bringing fresh oxygen into the body and a sense of renewal.

Just seeing as you breathe out,

Feeling your breath flowing into the belly,

Flowing out,

Feeling any sensations in the body.

Any feelings,

Any emotions that may be present,

Just accepting without judgment.

Any feelings and any sensation that may be present,

Now connecting to your heart,

Feeling beautiful energy in the middle of your chest.

Visualize a beautiful golden light in the middle of your chest.

Now imagine that your heart and this golden light is connected to every other heart.

Your friends,

Loved ones,

Your family,

Neighborhood and community.

Imagine your individual hearts connected to all of humanity.

Just visualize this invisible network of light connecting all hearts together.

Send your love out to all beings around the world.

Unconditional love.

And as you breathe in,

Allow yourself to receive love from people all around the world.

Feeling the interconnectedness of our humanity.

Continue breathing through your heart center.

Imagine if there's been any anxiety,

Worry,

Any panic or fear in relation to these world events.

Let yourself breathe in some soothing breaths.

Just gently release any of these anxieties and fears.

Imagine this warm,

Soft light inside of you,

Soothing and cleansing away any worries.

Just breathing it out and letting it go.

Even if there are valid reasons for these worries and fears,

Just knowing that the adverse physiological effects of stress on the body and mind is never quite worth it.

So some deep breaths and just letting go.

Any stress or tension you may be feeling or sensing on an individual or collective level.

And together let's breathe through that and find ourselves becoming more peaceful during this tremendous time of change.

Imagine you're breathing in the energy of peace,

Breathing out the energy of peace.

And now bringing your awareness to the earth,

The planet as a whole.

Sending your peaceful energy down into the earth.

Just feeling the earth,

Sensing the changes she's going through.

Listening to the earth for a moment.

Is there anything you can hear?

Anything that feels different?

Feeling yourself grounded,

Centered,

Connected to the earth.

Now just gently smiling to yourself.

Or imagine you're smiling on the inside.

Relax the muscles in your face,

The shoulders,

Your entire body.

And now to complete.

Feel the energy of gratitude.

Let it fully encompass your entire body.

Feel it like a warmth and light in your heart and mind.

Bring your hands to your heart.

Think about what you feel most thankful for in this present moment.
