Hello,
It's Aisha.
Welcome to this yoga nidra for stress and anxiety.
This Yoganidra.
Is designed to calm the mind.
Soothe anxiety.
And alleviate stress.
Giving you time and space.
To melt into the most calming state.
So before we begin,
I invite you to take a moment to make sure that you are comfortable.
Warm and fully supportive.
Perhaps lying flat on your back.
Ensuring that the head has all of the support that it needs.
From there,
You may begin to close down the eyes.
As you start to bring your focus inward.
Slowly relaxing into the garden of your mind.
Preparing to release.
Relax.
And unwind.
As you continue to breathe.
May you start to observe your breath.
As it softly enters.
And exits the nostrils.
Let yourself become aware of that effortless dance of the breath.
Every inhale.
And exhale.
Following its own perfect rhythm and flow.
Simply let your breath be your anchor.
As you continue to drop into the entirety of your body.
Feel your breath anchoring you.
Grounding you and creating a safe and cozy space.
For you to simply be.
Be in this moment.
Breathe in this moment.
Soften and surrender.
As you melt even deeper.
Into this delightful dance of the breath.

Might you draw your attention?
To the point between the two eyebrows.
As you take this moment to gaze deep into your mind's eye.
Look deep into the core of your mind's eye.
And imagine yourself standing in the middle of a peaceful rainforest.
Surrounds it by lush greenery.
As you embrace the calming sounds of nature.
The air is warm yet refreshing.
And the soft,
Gentle rain.
Is lightly tapping on the beautiful leaves around you.
Listen to the sweet,
Steady sound of the rain.
Combined with the distant chirp of the tropical birds and the leaves rustling in the soft breeze.
Surrender to the soothing sounds of nature.
Savor this moment.
As you feel the steady earth beneath your feet.
So soft and grounding.
Feeling so calm and safe.
Right here in this warm space.
As you inhale deeply.
Breathe in the strong earthy scent.
All of the way.
And as you exhale.
Feel yourself surrender.
Again and again.
Breathe in the strong earthy scent of the rain.
And surrender to the calming sound of the rain.
The air is alive.
And the vibrant dance between everything in the rainforest.
Seems to come together so perfectly.
Every breath that you take brings you deeper.
Into this tranquil,
Exotic,
Place.
Bee hair.
Breathe right in.
Let your mind settle and clear.
Let the rainforest be healing balm for the mind.
Body and soul.
And as you continue to take it all in,
You see a serene waterfall in the distance,
Nestled between the lush greenery.
The water flows down from the cliff so effortlessly.
Pouring into a crystal clear stream.
The rain creating soft ripples in this vast bed of water.
As you move closer,
The cool mist from the water gently kisses your skin.
Mounting away all of the stress.
And tension.

Completely at peace.
As the rain continues to fall.
Feeling of total serenity.
Washes over your entire body.
Making you feel so at home.
Completely safe.
Resting deeply in this space.
With every sweet droplet of rain.
You are reminded that you are deeply connected to the soothing flow of nature.
In this timeless moment.
You are grounded.
You are free.
You are at peace.
The body is relaxed.
Your body is at peace.
Savoring every moment.
Of this yogic sleep.
And now,
Taking this moment to gently and mindfully repeat your sankalpa to yourself.
Three times with full awareness.
From there.
Starting to mindfully bring some awareness back to your physical body and your breath.
Starting to wiggle your fingers.
And toe.
Perhaps taking a nice gentle stretch.
Overhead.
From there,
You may begin to blink the eyes open.
In your own time.
Returning to the room where you have been deeply resting.
Bringing with you that calming cushion of soft,
Peace,
And deep relief.
And that brings us to the end of this yoga nidra.
I really hope that you are now feeling deeply relaxed.
Centered and at peace.
Your mind calm and clear.
As you return to your day,
I invite you to carry with you this sense of serenity.
Knowing that you can always return to this place of inner stillness whenever you need.
May your mind feel calm.
May your body feel relaxed.
May your soul feel at peace.
