Hello everyone,
My name is Aisha and I'd like to welcome you to this morning guided meditation.
So today I invite you to start the day with gratitude as I guide you through this very short but incredibly powerful guided meditation.
So whether you are lying down in your bed,
Sitting up or maybe sitting down in a chair just take a moment to make sure that you are nice and comfortable.
You may wish to keep your eyes open or closed whichever you prefer.
So let's now take a moment to bring our focus to the breath.
We're going to take two slow sips in through the nose and a slow exhale out the mouth.
So two sips in through the nose,
Slow exhale out the mouth and again two sips in through the nose,
Exhale out the mouth.
Let's do that one more time,
Two slow sips in through the nose and final exhale out the mouth.
Lovely.
Now as you let your breath return to its normal pattern take this moment to observe the breath as it flows in and out through the nose.
Taking this time to appreciate your breath as it effortlessly continues to flow throughout your entire body.
Feel that sense of gratitude for the breath of life for keeping you alive.
What a great gift it is to be alive,
To be here in this moment.
To be in this beautiful bubble of gratitude together across time and space.
Now as you bring the focus back to your body take a moment here to send some love and kindness to your body.
All of your organs,
Thanking your body for all that it does.
Feeling that deep sense of gratitude for your entire body,
Your breath,
Your skin,
Your unique essence,
Your spirit,
Your mind,
The entirety of your being.
Now I invite you to take a moment to think about someone or something that you are feeling grateful for.
It can be absolutely anything.
Perhaps it is that beautiful morning coffee that you're about to savor and sip or the breakfast that you are going to enjoy this morning.
It could also be a pet,
Family member,
Friend,
Partner,
Spouse,
Work colleague.
Perhaps it is your job,
The rising sun,
Your favorite park,
An opportunity that you have been given or maybe an event that you're looking forward to.
Just take a moment now to bring whatever it is that you're feeling grateful for to the forefront of your mind.
Perhaps as you think about it,
A smile begins to form across your face.
Really get into the feeling of it.
Bathe in the sea of gratitude that is cultivated as you think about this person or thing.
Very good.
Now I'd like you to think about something else or someone else that you're feeling grateful for.
Once again,
Really bring it to the forefront of your mind.
Visualize the person or thing and really tap into how this person or thing makes you feel.
Immerse yourself in the feeling state of how wonderful it is to have this person or thing in your life.
Now,
See if you can think of one more thing that you are feeling grateful for this morning.
Think about how amazing it is that you have this person or this thing in your life.
Isn't it wonderful?
Bathe in the warmth of the wonderful feeling.
How beautiful it is that there is so much to be grateful for this morning.
So much to savor,
So much to be thankful for.
How beautiful it is that there is so much to be grateful for this morning.

So much to be thankful for.
And as you go about your day,
