Welcome to this guided power nap.
So before we begin,
I invite you to take this time to get nice and cozy.
Perhaps adjusting your pillows and the sheets.
And in your own time,
You can slowly begin to close down the eyes as you prepare to relax and unwind.
As you start to bring your awareness to the breath,
Take a deep breath in through the nose and a slow exhale out the mouth.
We'll do that two more times.
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling out the mouth.
Ah,
Once more,
Deep breath in and a slow breath out.
And as you let your breath return to its natural pattern,
Just begin to breathe in and out through the nose.
From there,
Start to slow down your breathing.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Nice and slow.
Now,
Might you imagine that the mind is like a computer.
A computer that has various tabs that are open all at once.
So let's now begin to close down each and every tab one by one.
And as you do this,
Feel the eyelids getting heavier and heavier as the body begins to feel more relaxed.
Now that we have closed down all of the tabs,
You can just breathe and simply let yourself be as you surrender to this guided sleep.
Feel your body sinking deeper and deeper into the support beneath you.
Now,
Starting to count down from 50 as you begin to drift into the dream state.

Body getting so sleepy.

The back of the head feels so heavy and relaxed.

The eyelids and the muscles in the face relaxing.

Neck,
Shoulders,
And the back of the head relaxing.
Arms and fingers relaxing.

The back,
Chest,
And tummy relaxing.

Legs,
Feet,
Toes,
Surrendering and letting go.

The breath slowing down as the body prepares to restore.

You are now feeling so sleepy.

Feel yourself surrendering to this relaxed state.

There is absolutely nothing to be done.
Continue counting down as your breathing slows down.
With every number that you mentally repeat,
You feel yourself drifting further and further into that state of sweet,
Deep relaxation.
