Hello and welcome to this meditation to connect the three brains that exist within each and every one of us.
The three brains exist in the mind brain,
The heart brain,
And the gut brain.
So often we rely too heavily on the mind brain that we don't hear the messages and wisdom that arise from the space in the heart and the space in our gut.
So this meditation seeks to balance and open up each of these three brains so that as you move forward with any big decision in any aspect of your life,
You're connected and grounded across all three of your wisdom centers within you.
I invite you to start finding a comfortable meditation position,
Seated with the spine long,
Reclined with the heart open,
Or laying down with the legs comfortable and soft,
Low back flush with the mat.
Whichever position you choose,
Make sure that it's a position you won't fall asleep in and that you can take a nice full belly breath with nothing obstructing the abdomen area.
Once you find that position,
Close your eyes or soften your gaze,
Relax your shoulders,
Unclench the jaw,
Soften the fingertips,
Soften the hips,
Let the bottom half of your body be heavy,
Then begin to draw a nice slow breath in through the nose.
Feel this breath fill up your chest and fill up your belly.
Then slow exhale,
Allowing the belly and chest to fall.
Take another big deep breath,
Filling up your abdomen,
Filling up your chest with life.
And exhale,
Clearing out the day before you.
Take another inhale,
Anchoring you to this very present moment.
And exhale,
Allow yourself to soften into this space,
Into your body,
Into your mind.
Becoming aware of your mind brain.
The area behind the third eye,
Just beneath your skull,
Wrapping around,
Curving through all the matter in your brain.
First notice what sensations do you feel in your head at this present moment.
Is there a pulsing?
Does one side,
One half of your brain feel more active than the other half?
Do you feel activity in the front of your brain or the back of your brain?
Then begin to bring your awareness to what thoughts you are having.
Can you feel the energy and frequency of these thoughts coursing through different parts of your brain?
Without judgment,
Simply observing the thoughts currently flowing through your mind brain.
Now bringing your awareness down into your heart,
Right at the center of your chest.
Become aware of your heart brain.
What feelings or emotions are you presently experiencing in this space of the heart?
Listen and observe to what the heart is really saying in this exact present moment.
Bringing your awareness down the channel from your heart into your gut,
Below the belly button.
Feel into this space of the lower abdomen.
What truth does your body feel in this exact present moment?
What sensations are you experiencing in your lower abdomen?
Do you feel maybe your stomach moving?
Some pulsing vibrations happening in the lower abdomen?
Just notice the physical sensations of your gut brain.
Now listen a bit deeper.
What truth is coming from your gut brain?
What truth does your body feel at this exact present moment?
Scanning back between your mind brain,
Your heart brain and your gut brain.
Notice which of these three brains is the most active or has been used the most in your life.
Without judgment or force,
Just feel into the sensation of which brain feels imbalanced.
Then imagine a channel of light connecting your mind brain to your heart brain.
Then see this channel continue to connect your heart brain to your gut brain.
With each breath,
Allow the energy and activity from the overactive brain flow to your other two brains.
Feel the wisdom flowing to the other brains,
Allowing them to be recognized and heard.
Eventually arrive at a place where you feel all three brains are balanced.
Equal energy lives in all three.
Notice just how interconnected you are from within.
Completely aware of your three brains all at once.
As we draw to a close,
Commit to moving forward in life,
Integrating your gut brain,
Your heart brain and your mind brain.
Trust that we are meant to use all three in harmony with each other.
Take a deep inhale,
Feeling the air fill up the mind,
The heart and the gut.
Exhale from the gut,
The heart,
Out the mind.
Inhale clear channel of energy from the mind to the heart to the gut.
Exhale from the gut up to the heart and out the mind.
When you're ready to close your practice,
Gently flutter the eyes open,
Feel back into your body.
Continue on with this integrated connection with all three of your brains.
Thank you for joining this meditation practice with me today.
