Welcome to this guided meditation for the summer solstice.
My name is Troy Brown and I will be guiding you in today's meditation.
If you can sit in sunlight,
Do so,
But if not,
That's fine.
To begin,
Take a seat or lay down,
Get comfortable,
And then close your eyes.
Let's calm our body and mind.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold for 3 seconds at the top,
And then exhale out in a large sigh.
Continue this deep breathing.
Let your breathing return to normal now.
Picture in your mind's eye the sun's rays beaming down on you,
Warming your whole body.
Feel its warmth and wisdom.
As you connect with the sun,
Give gratitude for all it does for us here on earth.
Staying in the sun's rays,
Your own body begins to light up.
The sun energy charges you up,
Strengthening your inner light.
Go forward knowing you have been blessed by the sun,
Spreading light wherever you go.
Give gratitude for all that has happened here.
Bring your awareness back to your body,
Slowly begin to move and open your eyes.
