Welcome to this special guided meditation for the Spring Equinox.
My name is Joy and I will be leading you in this meditation.
This meditation will allow a space to give gratitude for all that has come before and prepare ourselves for new energies coming into our lives.
To begin,
Take a seat or lay down.
Move around until you are comfortable,
Then close your eyes.
Take a few deep breaths,
Breathing all the way in,
Letting your chest fill with air,
Holding for a second,
Then slowly exhaling all of the air out of your lungs.
Spring is a time for new beginnings,
Of growth.
Take a moment to reflect on the past season of your life.
What lessons have you learned?
What growth has occurred in your life?
Give gratitude for all that has happened.
You are in a meadow,
A soft breeze flowing past you,
The sun shining brightly,
The meadow is filled with flowers.
Take a look around.
Notice how you feel in this place.
This is a meadow of possibilities.
Anything and everything can grow here.
Set your intention on what you want to grow.
Watch as it forms in front of you.
Then,
When you are ready,
Plant your intentions.
A gardener approaches you.
This gardener is a guide of yours,
Always with you to assist and help you on your journey.
Show them where you have planted your intention and watch as they tend to your planted seed.
Give the gardener thanks for their assistance.
Give gratitude for all that has happened here today.
Return now to your body,
Opening your eyes,
Moving around.
