Taking New Chances

I share my experiences of self-limiting beliefs and the challenges of expressing myself. There are always going to be challenges in life and there will always be something new to learn from taking new chances. I have found myself in times of lows for a long time and I understand that is what my experience was/is meant to be and I don’t regret it. I am learning what I need to at the right timing for me and meanwhile I continue to love myself in what I go through.

Hey there, It's Alyssa and what I would like to talk about today is taking new chances. So it's taking me a lot right now to make these videos and talk about all these different subjects and things like that and basically I realized that I have been preventing myself from having new experiences that come with me expressing myself and the reason for that is because I thought that if I put my heart and soul out there and it doesn't go the way I think it's gonna go or something that like oh I could be crushed by that and that thought has been the main thought that I've had for a long time you know about me expressing myself more and after I've had a few different experiences over I guess the last well you know my whole life but the past three years or so I am realizing you know we're on our own process right now of our own journey and not everyone has to receive what I'm saying or sharing or whatever it is and it was me that was letting myself be down be let down you know by some sort of expectation that you know I was already setting on other people you know to understand or receive it well or whatever and now I'm realizing it doesn't really work like that and I realized okay I'm gonna go ahead and get on social media get this out there because I would rather what I'm saying have a chance to help people that are looking for it and then whoever isn't looking for it that's fine and I can accept that and I'm totally okay with that you know so that's something that I'm learning right now is like I want to be able to help people that are looking for it you know because I know it's really great to not have to feel alone going through these different things in life and the way it's been well now it's you know getting a lot better but talking about these things that we go through in life haven't been as expressed or acknowledged you know back in recent years but now you know like I said it's getting better and I think these things are coming out a lot more now which is great because the more that we understand the aspects of who we are as a person then the more we can understand you know the aspects of the collective and the natural world and the more that we understand those things right here right now this information is allowing us to build a better foundation for ourselves from the inside out and our internal world does create our external world you know so for example on days where I've been in a really bad mood on the inside I was like you know angry about something or didn't feel good enough or whatever it was that I felt on the inside I looked at my outer world like you know everybody wasn't good or like you know I was viewing the outside world as how I felt on the inside you know so my outward demeanor was as if you know they're the ones hurting me what's in my surroundings but that was just like my state of mind and I knew that and on days where I'm in a really good mood then I feel good about myself on the inside and then everything's great you know so it's like we have to have the darkness to push us to our light and then when we experience the light we know it exists and it's there so then that leads me to think what would be preventing me from not experiencing that and a lot of it is like negative thinking and patterns and behaviors and stuff like that but that's fine because I'm in my own process you know so there's nothing wrong with feeling that and I believe we're always healing we're always moving forward we're always learning and there's more that we can learn about who we are and when we form clear thoughts about who we are then we are able to see our outer world more clear and those challenges that we had before just start to dissipate the more that we understand ourselves and that everything has its own process everything has a natural process you know like with the plants and animals and the trees and you know humans and the way that our body works and you know everything has a process a natural process so when we take care of what is supporting our mind body and soul and the mental physical spiritual and emotional aspects understanding first of all that that exists and what does it mean to nurture that and support that you know in a healthy everlasting long-term positive way of life harmonic cycle I don't know why I just said that so long but uh you know that's basically what I think about it and when we become to understand more of that then we realize there's so much more freedom more freedom that we didn't even know that we had freedom to be the creators of our lives and I think that right now we can transform our state of mind to not to be let down because of what's happening but what can we do about it what can I do about it where can I start and a lot of the time I realized that the truth would weigh me down and something that I wrote here a couple days ago was let the truth set you free not weigh you down and that's what I've been doing a lot you know letting it weigh me down but I'm like wait you know if I know the truth of things then it does set me free because then it just kind of clears up the fog or whatever that I was in before you know so I'd rather know like what can I do right here right now with that and what freedom comes with that you know and like every time we make a change there is a loss but we can know that that had its place too and every you know ending has a beginning you know all these things and every time that has its place so we don't have to be let down or weighed down by it because we are meant to understand we're meant to acknowledge and understand and overcome our challenges not be stagnated by them and that's something that I'm learning a lot right now because the past three years or so there were so many different stressful situations happening at once and all these different things just kind of led me to shutting down you know and reverting really a lot back into myself kind of and you know and that was just my way to deal with things you know and there was nothing wrong with that but for me to realize that was really important and I know that I have to be able to express myself in all the ways that I want to and these are the new experiences that I will have to understand okay what are these experiences gonna bring me and I'll have things to learn in these experiences too just like I learned in all my other experiences I can learn what there is to learn now and find a clear understanding you know that's for my highest good and keep going towards that because I know that no matter what happens in life whatever it is no matter what I go through that I know it is best for me to have the approach of love and grace for myself in whatever way that is and I never have to shame myself for anything that doesn't have to happen and I know that I can move forward in a loving way no matter what happens so that really sums up you know my experience and everything with being able to have a new understanding and everything so thank you so much for listening and I
