This short but powerful alchemical Qi Gong meditation is grounding, centering, and embodying. In it we connect to both heaven and earth creating powerful fields of energy to nourish and protect our energy fields.

Namaste and welcome.
I hope you're doing well today.
What a time to be alive,
Hey?
Such interesting times.
2020,
Time of great change,
The beginning of a great evolution and the space of great discomfort for many of us.
Right now,
As a collective consciousness,
We are riding a wave like we haven't been on in our lifetimes.
Like a wave of great change,
Of a great opening and a great transformation and transmutation.
It's really exciting if you think about it.
If this were a movie,
We'd be at like the best part in the movie,
Right?
The most intense part.
And yet in our human existence,
It's not so comfortable and it certainly is not so fun.
Each of us right now is being challenged in such powerful and amazing ways to grow beyond our wildest dreams.
We're seeing the foundations of structures breaking down,
Whether it be in the collective consciousness,
Whether it be in our own personal lives,
Or whether it be internally and things that we've held dear or ways we've thought of ourselves.
We're being invited to open into a whole new experience of being.
And to do that,
We have to let go of what is not serving us.
We're being called to open into not just the truth of our heart and our light,
But open into a higher light and truth for all of evolution,
All of the human consciousness here on earth.
And to do that,
We have to break down and let go of the old things.
That is what is no longer serving us.
So yeah,
It's been uncomfortable.
And as exciting as this time is,
I will not lie and say that it's been fun.
For each of us,
It's brought something to our lives that has probably been very unexpected,
Very uncomfortable,
And has really given us the invitation or perhaps forced us into the invitation to really rest and be with some deeper layers of deeply held emotion,
Patterns,
Conditioning,
And to go to those places with awareness.
And it's not comfortable.
It's not easy.
And yet it's what we're being invited to do.
Yeah,
Even for me who loves growth,
It's been an interesting three or four months.
And I trust and I believe that this truly is the beginning of a great becoming.
And so while we're at a big wave,
There's gonna be more.
And how beautiful is it to open to this wave of life and at the same time,
Be able to open to a place of trust and awareness as we move through this flow of energy.
It doesn't help that the vibration is super high right now.
We have the earth waking up and we have the heaven saying,
Come on,
Like we're ready for you,
We're ready for you,
Which also speeds up some of the purification and breaking down process.
So yeah,
Yeah.
So it led me to be inspired to share with you one of my favorite grounding practices,
A practice where we can create a beautiful space or a container for our body,
For our mental and emotional body,
And for our bigger spirit and Ananda Maya consciousness to feel really held and safe.
A lot of us are very open right now.
And as things get blown apart into bits,
We're feeling a lot of the angst of the collective consciousness.
And while we're all in this together,
We don't need to be holding or running the stories,
At least to the effect that we are of the whole world right now.
If we can come into a space where we feel more grounded and centered,
Then our light can feel more bright and shine even brighter,
Even as we're processing and moving through our own stuff.
It's not about being blissful right now,
At least it doesn't seem to be.
But we can definitely hold more space for our processing,
Which creates ripples of light and supports the evolution of the whole collective conscious more than just feeling all of the discomfort,
The anger,
The anxiety,
The rage,
The grief.
So yeah,
So this meditation is a meditation into opening into the three wei qi fields.
And these are fields that protect and support our energy.
They protect and support our sense of being,
And they create a grounded space from what to move from.
And this is great to do first thing in the morning.
It's also really great to do before bed.
If you dream a lot or astral project,
I can keep your energy very much held as you go and do your work in that dream world.
So I'm gonna invite you to get comfortable finding a nice place to sit.
You'll notice I'm nice and steady in my chair.
Legs can be cross-legged or bent.
I'm not gonna do that.

And then,
As you're sitting up straight,
You're creating a grounded rhythm,
Letting your belly expand,
Contract.
It's that gentle rise and fall,
Remembering that life,
Like all things,
Is an ebb and flow,
A wave of energy that takes us exactly where we need to go.
And then bringing your awareness up to the crown of your head and imagining a ball of light that's moving to the right and to the back and to the left and to the front of your head,
Creating a spiral of energy that's opening you to receive from the heavens above and inviting this beautiful spiral to move in a circular motion to the right and back,
Left and to the front of your head.
Breath is strong and steady,
And then noticing that the spiral can let go and just this beautiful channel of light moving from your crown all the way through you.
And as you bring your awareness,
I invite you to bring your awareness up above your head.
And if you can,
Imagine that you're going to connect with stars.
Maybe you see the North Star or the Big Dipper or Orion's Belt,
Another star,
Anything.
And as you feel the light of the stars,
Invite yourself as you inhale to bring that light into your body,
Bringing in through your crown chakra and moving all the way down through the root of your pelvis,
Almost like you could feel this beautiful white light just starting to fill you up from above,
Moving through the brain,
The jaw,
The throat,
Moving down the center line of our being,
Shashumna Nadi,
The Taiji pole,
And noticing this great expanse of white light invigorating you from the inside out.
And once you feel this white light,
I invite you to then start to feel it expand through your body,
Maybe feeling this central space of clear light.
And then as you exhale,
Inviting it to move through your organs and your tissues and your skin and all parts of you,
Your blood vessels.
Each inhale is connecting with the white and each exhale is allowing this white light to just fill you up,
Almost like your skin was like a casing for this white light and you were starting to glow from the inside out.
And maybe noticing that you're starting to permeate this light through your body,
Through your skin.
And as you inhale,
The light gets brighter.
And as you exhale,
This light moves an inch away from the outside of your body,
Protecting and filtering the energy from your physical body,
Connected fully with the stars and yet grounded in the earth of the temple of your home.
Just take a moment,
Feel this beautiful white light moving through you and around you one inch every direction.
This is the first way to feel.
We'll then bring our awareness just to that inch space where that white light is around our body like a beautiful blanket.
And from here,
We might take a breath in and as we exhale,
We're going to see and imagine this beautiful blue light moving out 12 to 18 inches.
Beautiful blue light breathing into the white and exhaling,
Seeing this blue light move out from it and covering us each and every direction with this beautiful clear blue light.
Feeling this behind you,
Underneath you,
Above you.
Foot to a foot and a half away from you,
Totally connected and creating this beautiful filtration system for your mental,
Emotional,
And energetic body.
And feeling how held you are,
Bringing your awareness to the outside of this blue light.
And as you breathe in,
Seeing the white,
Seeing the blue,
And as you exhale,
Allowing this beautiful rose color to flow out from the blue light.
Maybe three,
Four feet away in diameter,
Maybe bigger.
And inviting this beautiful rose light to flow around you,
Above you,
Below you,
Behind you,
To your sides.
Bringing this beautiful light and awareness and this filtration energy to the space of your spirit,
The Ananda Mayakosha,
The space of your beautiful shin.
Allowing this pink light to just hold you in pure love and compassion,
To keep you in your space,
In your place,
In your heart,
And in your own truth.
So let's just take a few moments to rest here in the white,
In the blue,
And in the rose.
And know that this is something you can do within 30 seconds.
Just imagine it and it will be so.
Whenever you're feeling ungrounded,
Whenever you're caring more than what is yours,
Feeling to sit here long as you like,
Knowing that you are held,
You are safe,
You are supported,
And you are here on this journey because you are ready for it.
Trust,
Even if you don't like it,
Even if you don't understand it,
Trust that we're all opening to something,
Not just better,
Not just brighter,
But something that is in alignment with our soul,
Our truth,
And our life.
