I wrote this poem after a beautiful inspiring Yoga Festival in the North East of England. Enjoy all that summer brings to you.

Summer in my body

Let the light of the summer sun
Shine on my body
Light up my heart
Ignite in my belly

Let the gentle summer breeze
Wash over my body
Cleanse my heart
Let go in my belly

Let the lush green grass
Run through my fingertips
Ground my feet
Stand tall with stability

Let the sounds of summer
Fill my ears with joy
Echo circles of laughter
Promoting happiness thereafter
