Relaxation Meditation.

This meditation is designed specifically to help you reduce any feelings that might have occurred within you of stress or anxiety and connect you back into your body and to anchor you firmly into your heart center and ground you into the earth to allow you to feel calm safe and supported.

I want you to start by finding a comfortable seated position making sure your lower back is nice and supported and you are sitting with your spine straight up nice and tall.

Relaxing your shoulders down your back away from your ears creating as much space as you can around your neck.

Your palms facing down to ground in your lap or on your knees and closing down your eyes and giving yourself permission to release any worry or anxious thoughts for the next few minutes and allowing yourself to arrive exactly as you are exactly where you are.

Connecting into your body and into your breath gently checking in with compassion for yourself.

Have you been breathing?

How is your heart feeling?

Are there any areas in your body of tightness?

Does any part of you feel stiff or stuck?

Taking a deep inhale through your nose all the way down into your belly and open mouth exhale out any feelings of tension.

Taking another deep inhale all the way down into your belly and open mouth exhale out arriving fully in your body.

I want to remind you that you are exactly where you're meant to be and your body is a safe space.

Focusing on your breath breathing in for four counts and then exhaling for six counts.

Breathing in two three four and then exhaling two three four five six.

Allowing ourselves to get out of fight or flight and into our nourishing rest and digest by lengthening our exhales.

Repeating this can of breath to yourself in your own time.

And with each inhale inhaling in feelings of love and peace and with each exhale releasing anything that no longer serves you.

Freeing yourself of any negativity or worry.

Starting at your feet feeling into your feet toes ankles and relaxing your feet toes ankles relaxing your shins releasing tension in your knees relaxing your thighs relaxing your hips softening your tummy softening your chest feeling into your fingers relaxing your fingers relaxing the palms of your hands relaxing your forearms and elbows and relaxing your upper arms and shoulders relaxing your neck relaxing your face softening your jaw connecting into your body and releasing any areas of tension and allowing yourself to feel light and limitless.

I want you to know that you can connect back into your breath at any time through your day.

Your body is a safe space and your body is always working for you trust in it.

And taking another deep inhale through your nose pausing and open mouth exhale.

One last time deep breath in through your nose pause and exhale out.

Taking a moment to have gratitude towards yourself.

All is well and this too shall pass.

You are safe you are supported and you are loved.

And when you are ready bringing a little smile to your face and gently cracking open your eyes and allowing yourself to arrive back into the room knowing that throughout the rest of your day you can connect back to this feeling of peace through just a breath.
