Hello and welcome to our meditation today.
This meditation is to support you in finding devotion to all that is.
Developing a viewpoint of neutrality in our existence allows us to not stay swung in the pendulums of feeling and being on one side versus the other of our current existence.
Sometimes we may be going through things that may seem divine and beautiful and then years later we look back and realize that that actually was not a great decision.
Or we are going through something that feels tragic and hard and then we look back later and realize that that was the turning point that brought us the most amazing experience.
So with that I'm saying we don't really know where we are going but can you even imagine if you were to change all the things in the past?
You wouldn't be who you are today.
You wouldn't know what you know.
You wouldn't have done what you've done.
You wouldn't have experienced what you've experienced and really you wouldn't be you here because you would have grown in a different way.
So for me I feel like living in that mental state of what if is just draining one's ability to find devotion,
Love,
And acceptance for this now moment.
Yes we can vision and dream and future cast.
Yes we can try and recondition and retell the stories of our past.
All those are great.
But I invite you today to not lose sight of the overflowing wealth that is this now moment and being in devotion to this moment.
Whatever may be your experience.
This is not to diminish,
To say that feelings aren't valid.
This is to kind of feel the feelings.
But then on the other side finding that sense of devotion knowing that you are held and you are loved and no matter what you are currently moving through you are being divinely guided,
Held,
And supported to move even more towards your potential,
What you've been asking for,
And what you're desiring even if it doesn't make sense now.
Seeking the devotion in the moment in your life allows yourself to open up your heart to more possibilities.
So coming in to a comfortable state.
This meditation is more like a prayer.
A prayer to all that is here and now for you.
Taking a deep in-breath and out-breath.
Feeling the breath and allowing that to pull you deeper into now.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Feeling the sensation of the breath as it rises and fills your being on the inhale.
Full and feel.
And then feel how the body softens and let go with the exhale.
The breath itself shows us the ultimate polarity that is each given moment,
Each experience.
There is the fullness and there is the letting go.
You simply cannot live without this breath,
Without this polarity.
Inhale.
Exhale.
And at the top of your inhale,
Pause.
Feel the fullness of your vessel.
Exhale,
Let go of that breath.
And pause.
And notice the emptiness.
Inhale.
Pause.
Exhale.
And pause.
I invite you to do this on your own for a few rounds.
Pausing at the top of the inhale and the bottom of the exhale.
And just feeling the space that is also offered to you in your breath.
Moving at your own pace.
And when you enter into the spaciousness of the pause,
I invite you to inquire in how you can see the grace in this moment.
And it can be a question you pose to yourself.
How may I see the grace in this moment?
And exhale.
And ask me again in that space,
How you can see the grace in this moment.
Or you could remind yourself,
I see the grace in all that is.
Whatever you feel is more aligned for you.
Connecting that with the breath.
So we'll create more of an even circulation here of the breath now.
If you feel like you have a good pace,
Stay there.
Or you can join me,
Inhale for the count of four.
And pause for a count of four.
And inquiring or feeling the grace in all that is.
Exhale for the count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
Feeling and inquiring the grace in all that is.
Inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Continuing this rotation of breath.
This rotation of exploration.
Of the grace in each moment.
The inhale and the exhale.
The wave of feelings.
The wave of our humanity.
The wave of our joys and our suffering.
But the pauses allow us to open up to the grace in all that is.
And the grace that all that is,
Is the hands of however you view a higher power.
In your existence.
Working with you,
Alongside of you.
However this aligns for you to feel.
But knowing that that is there.
You are given the ability to even pause with the breath.
To know that we have an ability to feel it.
To communicate with it.
To commune.
To ask,
To inquire.
Because being in devotion to all that is.
Sometimes means that we are on our hands and knees on the earth saying.
I have nothing left.
Sometimes it is this over ecstatic overflow of.
Oh,
This is brilliant.
More of this.
May the pauses remind you.
That there is a divine grace that is running through the thread of your life.
A few more rounds of this breath.
Inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
To see the grace in all that is.
Exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
To see the grace in all that is.
Inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Letting go of that breath rotation.
Returning back to a natural flow.
Just being within yourself.
Devotion to me is loving discipline.
It is an act that no matter what.
You are committed.
You are committed.
You are committed.
To being in devotion to this life.
Because in the moment we can't always see.
But in hindsight,
If you look back at the tapestry,
The fabric of your life.
You see that thread of divine grace that was woven through each experience.
So why not just start to work on inviting in that thread of grace into the now moment.
So that it is more a part of your story rather than something that you are able to see.
And this is why it is a practice.
It is not easy.
And this isn't to diminish,
Move,
Or change.
It's not to diminish,
Move,
Or step over the emotions of this life.
It's to remind you of the beauty that is this life.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
For exploring the devotion to all that is.
I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
