Welcome to our nighttime meditation.

You are welcome to do this laying down or seated.

This meditation is meant to wrap up your day in a sacred way,

To honor all that was and to leave behind all that no longer serves.

Find yourself in a comfortable seat.

Take a deep inhale and exhale.

Spending a few moments scanning the body.

Bringing the awareness to the top of the head.

The space between the eyebrows,

The ears,

The cheeks,

The jaw,

The whole face,

The neck,

The collarbones,

The arms,

The elbows,

The hands,

The fingertips,

The torso,

The front of the body,

The back of the body,

The pelvis,

The right leg,

The left leg,

The right foot,

The left foot,

The right big toe,

The left big toe.

Notice all of you.

All of you coming back,

Back into the moment.

Taking full,

Deep inhalations,

Deep into the belly.

Let it go.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Bringing back all the parts of yourself that you have lost,

Disconnected from throughout the day.

Honoring what today held for you.

As a moment of reflection,

Want you to bring to mind something you are choosing to celebrate.

It could be something major.

It could be something as small as getting out of bed.

What are you proud of yourself for?

And feel the expansive energy that is you.

Breathing into that joy,

That celebration.

Allowing it to go past the physical body.

Allow the energy to reach out,

Out,

Out,

Out,

Out,

Out,

Out,

Out,

Far past your being.

Replying yourself with this gratitude for what was,

No matter the expression,

Just because it brought you this joy.

Now take a deep inhale.

Exhale.

Let it go.

Bringing your awareness now to what you are ready to release from today.

Do not wish to carry in to your night's rest and to your tomorrow.

Allow whatever comes to surface to rise.

Maybe it's the way you did something.

Maybe it's pain in the heart.

Honor what it is.

And tell this part of you,

I'm ready to release you.

I no longer need to hold you.

Bringing to mind the mantra.

Let go.

Inhale.

Let.

Exhale.

Go.

Inhale.

Let.

Exhale.

Go.

Inhale.

Let.

Exhale.

Go.

Noticing the body softening,

Mind letting go.

The energy of today.

In a sacred,

Honoring way.

At what was,

Was,

And no longer needs to be.

Inhale.

Let.

Exhale.

Go.

Inhale.

Let.

Exhale.

Go.

Inhale.

Let.

Exhale.

Go.

Inhale.

Let.

Letting go.

All that was.

Honoring it.

Closing your day with a sacred thank you.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

For all that was and all that will be.

Drifting.

To sleep or to close your evening.

In a sacred way.
