Five minute timed meditation.

This meditation is designed for you to begin practicing following your own breath patterns with minimal direction.

It is an opportunity to use what you have learnt from other meditations to bring your awareness back every time you find yourself drifting on a train of thought.

Imagine you are on the sidelines of a road watching the traffic go by and that your thoughts are just vehicles traveling to destinations.

You are going to watch the thoughts go by without following them on their journey.

Every time you notice a thought come back to your breath with an attitude of gentle compassion and non-judgment.

Let's begin.

Close your eyes and focus on your breath.
