This practice is designed to help you develop and improve the way you feel about visualisation for speaking. Anna is a Master of Hypnosis and NLP and a multi award-winning Voiceover Artist, so you can be sure of a great listen. The track has a deliberate silence of two minutes partway through the track- this allows the suggestions to embed in your subconscious.

Transcript

Make yourself as comfortable as you can.

Remember to take this time for just you.

No interruptions or disturbances.

Just peace and quiet.

Close your eyes.

Stay very still.

Ignore that need to move.

I want you now to concentrate on your breathing.

Wonderful regular breaths in.

And complete relaxing breaths out.

Notice your breathing.

Feel your chest moving in and out.

The longer you stay still,

The more relaxed you become.

Around the area of your heart,

You begin to notice a glowing light.

It is a warm glow.

A feeling of love and gentleness begins to emanate from it.

Do nothing.

Just notice the light.

Observe it getting warmer,

More radiant,

Focused.

What colour is it?

Begin to notice the changing sensations in your body.

And notice that the more you accept the light,

The more it grows.

Feel the difference as the light radiates out from your chest over your whole body.

Through your chest and torso,

Along your arms to the tips of your fingers.

Down your legs to the end of your toes and up to the top of your head.

Really feel the gentle warmth of the light as it glows within you.

Now allow the light to expand outside of you.

Just a little at first.

Then more.

You can control it.

Find where it feels comfortable for you.

How far away is it from you?

Is it close to your body or further away?

Notice that you can move the light,

Play with it,

Enjoy it,

Feel it.

What sounds suit it?

It is alive,

This light,

Pulsating.

It is the life force within you.

Let it condense all the way back into your heart.

Feel its strength,

Its vibration.

Notice its effect on your mind,

On your body.

As you continue to listen to my voice,

I'd like you to continue to relax and let go.

Let my voice make all the effort necessary.

There is no need for you to listen very carefully to what I'm saying.

These things that are now being said are addressed to the unconscious part of your mind.

It will be accepting of the new suggestions and feed them back into your life in the form of the behaviour that you would prefer.

As you approach people for the first time,

You feel a warmth and friendship for them.

Your smile expresses this.

You know that people seek you out because you are happy and you enjoy their acceptance of you.

You're a happy person full of imagination.

You have a deep and sincere respect for yourself and for your personal worth to others.

You have a feeling of confidence in your abilities to achieve your chosen goals.

Whatever you say or do is done with complete confidence and self-assurance.

Others respect you because you respect yourself.

You have confidence in your own judgement.

Your personal integrity is felt by everyone you meet.

You exude an attractive self-assurance that encourages people to follow you.

They are on your side because you are interested in them.

See yourself dressed in your favourite outfit.

Picture the colours.

Know that you look the part.

Around you are people who admire you.

See your smile of happiness.

You feel amazing.

Imagine walking to the place where you're going to speak,

Where you're going to lead people through your words poised and confident and feeling wonderfully calm and relaxed,

Mildly excited.

You take another breath.

You feel ready to claim the life you deserve,

Really ready.

You have paid your dues for long enough now and you are ready to lead.

You are worthy of this.

You are a leader.

Your legs are strong beneath you.

As you talk to your audience,

You are secure and confident.

You speak spontaneously,

Sincerely and freely.

Your vocabulary,

Your fluency in speech,

Your clearness of thought,

Will create an impression of quiet authority that flows from you.

You're aware of how powerful your voice sounds.

At the end of your talk,

You are surprised at how quickly time has passed,

How you enjoyed it and how by looking at the smiles of the audience and hearing their comments and applause,

You know that they did too.

These ideas are now making a profound and permanent impression on your deeper mind.

You realise that other people really want to know your opinions and views.

You have a charisma which captures people's attention.

They listen.

This is an important stepping stone towards bigger things.

Your unconscious mind knows exactly what needs to change specifically so that you can have more joy,

Greater happiness and greater confidence.

All you need to do is breathe.

So as you breathe in deeply and breathe out completely,

Success,

Like your shadow,

Will follow you through the rest of your life.

After all,

Success isn't a destination,

It's a state of mind.

Take a couple more deep breaths to fully appreciate all that you now know and have always known.

Slowly counting down now from five through to one.

Starting at five,

You begin to wake up from the meditative state.

Four,

You are becoming more alert.

Three,

Stretch your arms up and take a deep breath.

Two,

Begin to open your eyes.

One,

Open your eyes fully.

You are now fully awake,

Feeling refreshed and energized.
