Visualisation for health and healing.

As you are lying down,

Imagine that the support of the floor is rising up to meet the weight of your body,

So that you can relax and let go knowing that you're fully supported.

Follow with your mind the rising and falling of your breath and let every exhale be an opportunity to relax a little more.

And there's a deepening and a widening and a softening.

The skin of your face is soft,

Your chest is soft,

Your belly is soft.

As you take a few more breaths,

Just imagine that you are lying somewhere where a clearing has been laid out for you.

It could be somewhere you have been before or somewhere you would like to go with a sense of being on holiday.

And in this clearing there are blankets and cushions and everything you need to be really comfortable and to relax.

You are present in the here and now but also on holiday.

In the clearing.

And there's perfect weather.

Picture yourself at the age you are today,

In the clothes you were wearing and really visualise yourself in perfect health.

Optimum health on a physical level,

On a spiritual level,

On an emotional level.

Perfect health on a creative level and on a mental level.

And as you look at that image of you in optimum health,

Turn up the brilliance and the colour on that image.

And bring that image nearer and nearer to you.

Nearer to you and nearer to you.

Until you merge with that image.

And what often happens is that first we notice that there is some resistance to being part of that picture of perfect health.

So I want you to acknowledge that resistance.

Be non-resistant to the resistance.

Be non-judgmental and totally accepting of all the emotions that come up for you when you practise this idea of merging with perfect health.

This is a real offering for yourself that gives you insights into your own resistance.

Focus back on that picture and turn up the brilliance,

Turn up the colour and bring it so near that you merge with that image comfortably and easily.

Let the relaxation of being in perfect health in the clearing on holiday as you let the relaxation move through you like a tide.

Moving down through the jaw,

Through the body,

Releasing and releasing.

Softening the tongue.

Softening the neck.

The chest.

Relaxing the heart.

The belly.

Softening.

Releasing the pelvis.

Muscles softening away from their bones.

Down your legs.

And deeper.

All of you having a well earned rest.

And as you stay here,

You may feel there is an even deeper shift,

Like a tide that has gone down past your feet.

And maybe you feel a tide moving up slowly through your body,

Like an energetic wave carrying a blueprint of health all the way through your body.

The blueprint of health through the soles of your feet.

The ankles.

This knowledge of perfect health moving through the bones in your shins and the skin of your legs reaching up to your knees.

Giving this tide of health,

This wave of health back to your waist,

Rising and falling with the tide.

Moving up into your shoulders,

Lapping into your neck and your arms receiving the tide past your head.

Giving this powerful tide to wash over you gently,

Gently.

Full of this blueprint for optimum health and for healing.

Washing over every cell in your body.

As you lie here,

Enjoy that sensation of the knowledge of perfect optimum health inside you.

Send some gratitude to your body for all the work it does.

Sometimes it is difficult to send gratitude to areas that you have struggles with.

So see if you can direct that gratitude,

A deep real gratitude to those parts.

And acknowledge the work that your body is always doing to help itself.

In your own time,

Wiggle your toes,

Wiggle your fingers and take a big stretch out.

And as you open your eyes,

Come up renewed,

Carrying with you the knowledge that your body carries this blueprint for perfect health with you wherever you go.
