This healing relaxation today will help you relax your stomach and will allow your digestive system to move freely so that your healing can begin to take place.

We often hold a lot of stress and emotions in our gut and stress can often be the root cause to a lot of our issues or even our mental state.

So today we'll be working to really let go of what no longer serves us in our gut.

So let's begin by finding a comfortable,

Relaxed position,

Making sure that no clothes are restricting you and allow your body in this moment to begin to relax.

Closing down the eyes.

Focus on the breath.

As the breath expand,

The longer and deeper you make it.

Take a cleansing breath in and breathe out all the tension in your body.

All intention when you breathe in to be cleansed,

Exhale releasing that tension.

As you inhale,

Purposely expand the belly,

Filling the ribs all the way up to the chest and let it go completely on the exhale.

All the way to the last bit of your breath.

Feel your body relaxing into a state of complete surrender.

Maybe you want to visualize this feeling.

It could feel like you are hopping into a warm bath.

Starting from your toes,

You are completely relaxed.

Loose,

Letting go of any hold you are still holding on to.

Try to observe the small tensions in your body that you are holding on to still.

And one by one,

You are going to let them go.

Letting the grip on your feet go.

Your hips relax.

Your eyelids are heavy.

Your shoulders are dropped and relaxed.

The grip on your jaw is completely gone.

Your tongue is relaxing.

Notice these parts where you may still be holding on to that as stopping you from reaching a complete state of surrender.

Now coming to your stomach.

Begin to scan the upper part of your stomach,

Just below your chest.

Relaxing all the sensations as you breathe in.

Releasing the grip around your ribs.

Allow your breath to fall into a natural rhythm and you are noticing a peaceful feeling arise in your stomach.

Breathe in deeply and hold,

Focusing on that upper part of your stomach.

Slowly begin to let it all go.

Feel your body relax and then exhale completely.

Inhale,

Focusing on the upper part of your stomach,

Holding at the top.

Feel your body relax completely and then you exhale,

Letting it go.

Move your attention to just above your belly button.

Allowing it to flow,

Letting it to be free.

And on the inhale,

Breathe deeply and hold.

Relax all your muscles.

Exhale.

Let it go.

Inhale,

Let your belly rise as far as it can go,

Concentrating near your belly button.

Allow your body to soften.

Exhale,

Letting it go.

Now coming towards the lower part of your stomach,

Where we unconsciously hold a lot of tension.

Begin to feel the sensations here.

Breathe in,

Holding the breath.

Start to let go of that muscle hold.

Exhale,

Let the breath go.

Doing that a few more times,

By giving your tummy the attention it needs,

It deserves.

And maybe as you do these deep breaths,

You feel immense gratitude for all that it does.

Exhale with relaxation,

Everything flows more easily.

Your digestive system,

Your circulation,

Your breath,

Your thoughts,

All flowing easily.

Healing.

Begin to focus on your body as a whole and start to visualize the healing that needs to take place.

What led you to this meditation in the first place?

Physically see the pain that is bothering you.

Perhaps you could see it like a dark area in your body.

You'll just sense where it is.

Really know what your intention is here.

It may be a pain,

Your skin,

Stress,

A diagnosis issue,

Bloating,

Whatever it is,

See it as a dark area.

Imagine this problem in your mind right now,

Without any attachment,

Without judgment.

Focus on this specific location in your body where the problem is present.

As you breathe in,

Imagine a bright,

Healing light coming into that area.

Seeing the light come from the top of your head flowing through your body directly towards this dark area.

Your body has many ways to heal itself.

Through this practice,

You are promoting strength and growth of healthy tissues and letting go all of that matter or excess in your body you may be holding onto.

Letting it go on the exhale as the bright light gets bigger.

The light is coming in,

Swirling,

Flowing through you.

Focus on the breath.

Notice the breath expand.

The longer and deeper you make it.

Beginning to completely take over the dark area,

Incurring the pain away.

Inhale the light grows bigger.

Exhale the dark area releases.

Exhale it all out.

Breathe in health,

Healing and calm.

Breathe out tension,

Negative thoughts,

Excess.

See the dark area getting smaller and smaller.

It is completely compelled by your relaxation.

Your gut is completely relaxed.

Believe in it.

Feel it.

Feel confident in your body's ability to heal.

You are enough.

Feel the light swirling around.

Breathing now throughout your whole body as your body works as a system together to heal.

As you exhale all the tension and the dark areas out,

Begin to think of this mantra.

Maybe repeat it in your mind.

My body is healthy.

Mind is brilliant.

My soul is tranquil.

My body is healthy.

Mind is brilliant.

Completely relaxed.

Body is healing.

It wants to heal.

That's it.

Beginning in your own time to come back into the room.

Full of gratitude for the wonders of your body.

I'm just going to count to three and when I'm done you will be your desired level of alertness.

Thank yourself for choosing your health first today and thank you for joining with me and Annabel and it was a pleasure.

Namaste.

Thank you.

Really wonderful guidance: thank you. Agree with some other comments here that music was very loud in contrast to your voice. Would you consider doing a slightly different version with quieter music targeted for end of the day? Easing digestion and setting up for a nourishing sleep ? 🙏

Thank you for this meditation! I am searching for some relief from gut issues and I believe our gut is truly connected to our brain. Perhaps even mine is related to hormones or sleep issues. Even with tests… My gut continues to rumble which of course then amps up my anxiety. It’s a vicious cycle. Thank you for providing 15 minutes of just relaxing in an effort to help my gut realize it doesn’t have to take on all the responsibility. I want to feel more joy in my life, and sometimes that is really hard when we don’t feel well. Namaste.

I appreciate that you focused on an area of the body that hold so much embarrassment for people. It's a body system and it needs to work well or we get sick. Thanks for opening up that conversation.

Very loving meditation. I love the focus on just the body and the ache. I makes it more real than some more woolly meditations. Thank you!
