Just allowing yourself to settle into a comfortable position.
Once you do,
Just simply allow your body to arrive in space.
Perhaps feeling your hips rooting down.
Your shoulders softening away from your ears.
Your hands just relaxing and resting in a comfortable position.
And simply allow your breath to arrive in your body.
So feeling a gentle expansion on the inhale.
And a gentle softening on the exhale.
Just beginning to notice how breath is moving through your body.
I'm going to invite you to imagine at the crown of your head a ball of light.
You can allow this ball to be like a baseball,
Baseball size.
Just imagine it hovering right above your head,
Just about an inch or so between you and it.
I want you to imagine that on the inhale this ball of light starts to flow down into your body,
Past your head,
Neck,
Chest,
Ribs,
Belly,
And then landing right in your pelvis,
Right in your pelvic bowl.
On the exhale I want you to imagine that this ball of light starts to travel back up to the crown of your head through your belly,
Ribs,
Chest,
Throat,
Head.
Inhaling the ball of light starts to flow down.
Exhaling the ball of light starts to flow back up.
Inhaling down,
Exhaling up.
Inhaling down,
Exhaling up.
Inhaling down,
Exhaling up.
I want you just to continue on with this for a few more breaths.
And perhaps notice just how your body feels as the light travels through different parts.
Maybe it feels expansive,
Relaxing,
Just start to become aware of how this visualization feels in your body.
The next time that this ball of light travels back up to the crown of your head,
I want you just to allow it to pause there.
Once it's paused,
Just simply start to imagine that the top of your head could simply soften and open.
Starting to create a space opening up to this light above you.
Perhaps as you imagine this,
You can start to notice if you visualize anything flowing in.
Just like this light is starting to travel down into your body.
Perhaps feel it dropping into your brain,
Starting to travel through your nervous system,
Flowing down into your throat,
Your chest,
Your arms,
Your hands.
Feel it cascading down your ribs,
Belly,
Mid-back,
Low-back,
Streaming into your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Calves,
Shins,
Ankles,
And feet,
Almost like it could flow out from each individual toe.
And just continue to allow,
Just allowing this light to stream down your body.
Noticing how it feels in your body.
Perhaps you feel a widening in your chest,
Your upper back.
Then allow the visualization of the light flowing in to simply fade away and just focus your attention on your body just being filled with light.
Perhaps feeling this light starting to emanate out.
It's like your whole body is illuminating.
Just notice,
Just notice how it feels to be open.
To be both a conductor of light and a receiver.
If it feels good,
Maybe even imagine that on every inhale,
Your light can expand just a little bit more.
Allow every exhale to be like the wind carrying the light even further out.
Taking just a few more breaths here,
Feeling this light expanding,
Radiating.
When you're ready,
Just allow your left hand to come on to your heart space,
Just pressing the palm right over your chest,
Feeling that connection there.
Allow your right hand to just soften right on top of your left,
Feeling your right palm pressing into your left hand and your left hand pressing into your heart.
Allow this light,
This radiating presence to just start to zoom right into your heart,
Right where your left hand meets your chest.
Just notice that this light is always within you,
That it is boundless,
Limitless,
That it is here to support you just as it is here to support beings everywhere.
Very gently just allow your awareness to flow back into your body,
Back into this moment,
Feeling your hips rooting down onto the surface beneath you and coming back to feeling your breath just traveling within your body.
If it feels good,
You can allow your hands to relax back down and then take a gentle breath in,
Just fill up your body and an easy breath out,
Let it go.
When you're ready,
Just simply open your eyes.
