Release stored fear and rewire your nervous system for safety through guided EFT tapping. This 25-minute practice helps you acknowledge survival responses (fight, flight, freeze, fawn), release what's been held in your body, and build new patterns of internal safety. Each tapping round moves you from acknowledging fear to anchoring safety, using specific acupressure points to calm your nervous system. Perfect for when you're feeling triggered, anxious, or stuck in survival mode.

Hello and welcome to this EFT tapping session for building safety in your own body.

This is for you if you right now or sometimes feel anxious,

Unsafe or disconnected from your own body.

Now with this tapping session I want to help you to create the safety in your body to feel and to feel safe.

So to begin with find a comfortable seated position,

Cross-legged or on a chair.

And then you can close your eyes and just take a moment to feel your own body and just notice where you maybe hold some tension,

Maybe there's a little bit pain,

Discomfort,

Numbness.

Just notice,

No need to change anything.

And many of us have learned to override these signals of our body,

To ignore them,

Push them away with painkillers or distractions and just ignore how we feel.

And today I want to invite you to gently shift this.

So we're going to help the nervous system to remember that we are safe and that our body is so wise and it's okay to feel.

And before we begin I want you to tune into your body and notice how safe do you feel right now on a scale of 0 to 10 with 0 being totally safe,

There is no fear,

No anxiety present in your body and 10 feeling very anxious and unsafe to feel.

And then just notice that number and remember it.

And now let's begin tapping.

So for this practice I'm going to demonstrate tapping on the points in the body and you can do as I do and then repeat after me what I'm saying.

I'm going to start with the karate chop point on the side of the hand.

And then I'm going to tap on the point on the side of the hand.

Even though I don't feel safe in my body,

Even though fear and anxiety is living here,

I'm willing to acknowledge how I can actually feel.

Even though my nervous system has been on high alert for so long,

Even though I've learned to override my body's signals,

I accept myself and how I feel right now in this moment.

Even though safety feels like something outside of me,

Something that I have to create a specific circumstance for,

I'm open to discovering that safety can live within me.

And then start tapping on the eyebrow point.

I don't feel safe in my body.

Side of the eye.

There's so much fear here.

Under the eye.

My nervous system is on high alert.

Under the nose.

Always scanning for danger.

Under the mouth.

It's exhausting.

Collarbone.

I don't feel safe.

Under the arm,

Side of the ribs.

My body feels like a dangerous place to be.

Top of the head.

All of this fear and anxiety living in my body.

Eyebrow point.

I have learned to disconnect.

Side of the eye.

It felt safer to leave.

Under the eye.

Safer to be in my head than to feel what is in my body.

But that disconnection comes at a cost.

Collarbone.

I have lost touch with my intuition.

Under the arm.

I have lost touch with my wisdom.

Top of the head.

I don't know how to trust my body anymore.

Take a deep breath.

And notice again how you feel in your body.

Notice that number.

Has it changed?

Is it still the same?

Just notice.

And then start tapping on the eyebrow point again.

My body is stuck in survival mode.

Side of the eye.

Fight,

Flight or freeze.

It's been this way for so long.

Under the nose.

But my nervous system learned this was necessary.

Under the mouth to keep me safe.

Collarbone.

But I am safe right now.

Under the arm.

Even though my body doesn't know it yet.

This survival response is not necessary anymore.

Eyebrows.

My body is working so hard to protect me.

Side of the eye.

And I can honour that.

Under the eye.

Thank you body for trying to keep me safe.

Under the nose.

But you can rest now.

You don't have to be on guard all the time.

Collarbone.

It is safe to let your guard down.

Under the arm.

It is safe to soften.

Top of the head.

It is safe to feel.

Take a deep breath.

If emotions come up,

Just let them be there.

Be present with them.

If tears come,

Just let them roll.

Feel into your body again and notice the number.

How safe do you feel right now?

And then let's start tapping again on the eyebrow point.

I'm ready to release this fear.

Side of the eye.

Layer by layer.

Under the eyes.

I don't have to hold on to it all.

Under the nose.

My body doesn't need to carry this anymore.

I am releasing this fear from my nervous system.

Collarbones.

I'm releasing the tension from my muscles.

Under the arm.

I'm letting go of the need to control everything.

Top of the head.

To feel safe.

Eyebrow point.

What if I don't need perfect circumstances?

Side of the eye.

To feel safe in my body.

Under the eye.

What if safety is an inside job?

Under the nose.

What if I can create it within myself?

Under the mouth.

Right here,

Right now.

Collarbone.

I'm releasing the belief that safety is outside of me.

Under the arm.

And I'm opening to new possibilities.

Top of the head.

To the possibility that safety lives within me.

Take a deep breath and just notice how you feel.

What's shifting?

What's the number now?

Just take notes.

Let's start tapping again on the eyebrow point.

It is safe to feel.

Side of the eye.

It is safe to be in my body.

Under the eye.

My body is not my enemy.

Under the nose.

My body is my home.

And I am safe here.

Collarbone.

I'm safe within myself.

I don't need external circumstances to change.

Top of the head.

To feel safe in my body.

I'm building safety.

From the inside out.

Side of the eye.

With each breath.

Under the eye.

With each moment of presence.

Under the nose.

My nervous system is learning.

Under the mouth.

Learning that it's safe to relax.

Collarbone.

That it's safe to soften.

Under the arm.

That it's safe to be here now.

Top of the head.

I am safe.

Take a deep breath.

Notice how that feels.

Eyebrow.

Start tapping again.

My body knows how to protect me.

Side of the eye.

My body has wisdom I can trust.

Under the eye.

My intuition lives in my body.

Under the nose.

I am learning to listen.

I'm learning to trust.

Under the mouth.

Collarbone.

I'm learning to trust the signals my body sends me.

Under the arm.

My body is always communicating.

Top of the head.

And I'm learning its language.

Eyebrows.

I trust my body's wisdom.

Side of the eye.

I trust my gut feeling.

Under the eye.

I trust the knowing that lives in my bones.

Under the nose.

My body knows what's right for me.

Under the mouth.

And I am learning to listen.

Collarbone.

To listen without judgment.

Arm.

To listen without fear.

Top of the head.

I trust my body.

Take a deep breath and notice how you feel.

So tapping on the eyebrow point again.

I am safe within myself.

Side of the eye.

I am building a home in my body.

Under the eye.

A safe,

Warm and welcoming home.

Under the nose.

Where all of me is welcome.

Under the mouth.

My fear is welcome here.

Collarbone.

My joy is welcome here.

Under the arm.

All of my feelings are welcome.

Top of the head.

Because it is safe to feel.

Eyebrows.

I am grounded in my body.

Side of the eye.

I am present.

Under the eye.

I am here.

Under the nose.

And I am safe.

My nervous system is calming.

Collarbone.

My body is relaxing.

Under the arm.

I am learning what safety feels like.

Top of the head.

And it lives within me.

Take a deep breath.

Eyebrow point.

I choose to feel safe in my body.

Side of the eye.

I choose to trust my body's wisdom.

Side of the eye.

I choose to be present.

Under the nose.

I choose to feel.

My body is a safe place to be.

Collarbone.

I am safe within myself.

I am building this capacity for safety.

Top of the head.

With each breath.

Eyebrow.

I am no longer running from myself.

Side of the eye.

I am no longer hiding from my feelings.

Under the eye.

I am here right now.

Under the nose.

Fully present in my body.

Under the mouth.

And I am safe.

Collarbone.

Safety is my birthright.

Under the arm.

And I am claiming it right now.

Top of the head.

I am safe.

I am whole.

I am here.

Take a deep breath.

Take one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.

And notice deeply how do you feel.

And just let any emotions come up.

If they want to.

And notice your body.

Notice what is different,

What has shifted.

And again on the scale of 0 to 10.

Where 0 is feeling completely safe.

And 10 feeling very unsafe and anxious.

Where are you right now?

And whatever the number is,

Just acknowledge it.

Give it space.

And allow yourself to be with yourself,

To see yourself.

To see where you are at.

And then remember that building safety in your body is not a one time event.

If your nervous system has been in survival mode for a long time,

It takes time to get out of it.

It takes repetitions,

It takes commitment and courage to let yourself relax,

To feel safe and to be present.

So remember you can return to this practice whenever you need to.

Your body is learning now and you are learning.

And with each practice you are building more capacity for safety,

For presence and for connection with the wisdom that has always lived within you.

You are safe,

You are whole,

You are here,

You are amazing.

Thank you for doing this practice with me.
