Become aware of what does it feel like to just take a little pause and exist.
Wonderful and now take a deep breath in,
One more deep breath in,
One more in and one more at your own pace and now bring your awareness to the sounds around you.
Just listen for the next few moments.
For a minute,
We will listen to the sounds in our room.
There might be subtle sounds like the sound of your fan or maybe the sound of your breath.
Now,
Listen to the sounds in the distance.
So,
It can be the sound of traffic,
Of the engine of a bike or a bird chirping.
You don't need to label the sounds as good or bad,
As melody or noise.
The sounds are just that,
Sounds.
So,
Become aware of the sounds in your environment.
Whether it is your room or the more distant sounds.
When your mind wanders,
That's okay.
You can again begin to notice the sounds.
Perfect.
Now,
Whenever you feel ready,
You can reconnect with your body and notice your whole body breathing right now.
Notice what does it feels like to exist in this moment.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere else to be.
Just here and now.
