Hello,

My name is Angela Rose.

Thank you for being here with me today.

I want to invite you to fully relax your body.

Maybe that means you're lying back in a chair or lying on your bed or the floor.

And today's meditation is about change.

Being with the uncomfortableness that life sometimes presents to us.

Being with the uncomfortable big feelings.

Take three deep breaths.

Breathing in through your nose.

Pausing at the top.

And exhaling out of your mouth.

Relax all the little muscles in your body surrendering,

Allowing the earth to hold you,

To nurture you.

Allow yourself to feel held.

You are fully supported.

You are not alone.

Whenever a thought comes to your mind,

Maybe a thought of worry,

Anxiety.

Come back to deepening and slowing your breath.

Imagine your breath on your inhale like an ocean wave flowing in your body on your inhale,

Massaging your stomach,

Flowing down to the area between your hips.

Your breath opening up space in your body.

Your breath hugging and loving on every cell in your body.

Every organ in your body.

And as you exhale,

The ocean wave takes with it anything no longer serving you.

You are like the sand on the beach.

You are grounded.

Sturdy.

Safe.

You are right where you need to be.

You have everything you need inside of you right now in this moment.

Imagine the rest of the world like the body of water,

The ocean.

We can't control what the ocean does or how it moves.

Sometimes it feels big and scary and out of control.

And other times it's calm and peaceful.

Imagine the whole world and everything within it as this body of water.

Release yourself from the doing and the trying to make things happen.

Release yourself from any feeling of needing to control it.

Detach yourself from it.

Observing it for what it is in this moment.

Life is all about change and the highs and the lows.

And we are here to experience it.

Consider whatever feelings are coming up for you.

Your feelings are always valid.

The wisdom of your soul knows the way,

Trust in that.

Come back to deepening and slowing your breath.

Observe yourself as the sand and the beach.

You are the solid foundation.

You have everything you need right now inside of you.

You are whole and complete just as you are right now in this moment.

Feel your body fully relaxed,

Giving your body permission to feel safe,

To open,

And to relax.

In your mind,

Tell yourself,

I am okay right where I am.

I am okay right where I am.

I am okay right where I am.

Feel your body in the points of your body where it's touching the bed or the chair.

And give yourself permission to relax even more.

Feel your body as if it were on the beach,

The warm sand in between your toes,

The warm sun gently hugging your body,

The cool,

Soft breeze on your face.

And notice what you hear up close and in the distance.

Maybe you hear the seagulls flying in the sky or maybe the gentle waves or maybe silence.

Feel the feeling in your body,

How it feels to be right where you are.

Come back to your breath.

Feeling three deep inhales through your nose,

Exhaling out of your mouth.

And telling yourself,

I am okay right where I am.

I am okay right where I am.

I am okay right where I am.

And as thoughts enter your mind,

Come back to deepening and slowing your breath.

Governing your breath like the ocean wave.

I inhale love,

I exhale peace.

Feel free to start to awaken your body by moving your fingers and toes or relax in the stillness of this moment.

The wholeness in me honors the wholeness in you.

Namaste.

Namaste.

Namaste.
