This body wellness meditation is for when you aren't feeling your best physically.
You're nauseous,
Achy,
Have a head cold,
Maybe you even have a bit of food poisoning.
This was actually inspired by my own thoughts when I had some food poisoning recently.
Your breath is the most steady thing we can concentrate on when it feels like our other
Bodily systems aren't cooperating or are in pain.
Let's begin.
Inhale through your nose.
Remember that this will pass.
Your body has felt different,
More at ease than this before.
Exhale through your mouth if possible and reach for those feelings.
Reach for lighter thoughts.
Your body is working to maintain balance,
To come back to homeostasis,
Its natural state.
And remember to hydrate.
Exhale and let everything go.
Relax your body and mind and reach toward the most recent positive experience you have had.
Remember the sunshine warm on your skin or a funny joke that you heard and laughed at.
Do your best to keep breathing and smile.
Don't be afraid to hold your own hand.
Pat yourself on your back.
Comfort yourself any way that you can because you are going to get through this.
You deserve nurturing and rest.
Be tender with yourself.
Remember,
Breathe and you're going to get through this.

This will pass.
Let the breath flow all the way down to your toes.
Exhale.
You are safe.
Your cells love you.
It is going to be okay and you can handle this.
Breathe deeply into your belly and give your cells the oxygen that they need to balance and thrive.
Exhale and let yourself be surrounded by the universe.
Feel the universe's love surrounding you.
Life loves you and you have felt better than this before.
Let spirit inspire you to find a positive solution in this moment.
