Taking some time now to sit down,
Feet on the floor,
Hands on your lap,
Taking a nice gentle deep breath in and out and closing down the eyes,
Connecting to the breath,
Allowing the flow of the breath to take you deeper within.
Perhaps you can deepen your breath now,
Taking it down deeper into the stomach,
Into the diaphragm,
Inflating the stomach on the in-breath and deflating on the out-breath.
In and out.
I wonder if you can sense,
Imagine,
Pretend,
Visualise a part of you that contains your life energy.
Perhaps this part of you is a glowing ball of light.
Notice what colour your life energy is.
This is the energy that powers you,
Keeps you healthy.
Notice the breathing and imagine that as you breathe in,
That energetic part of you is glowing stronger and as you breathe out,
That light of life energy is starting to fill your body.
Notice how it feels as your life energy expands.
Breathing in,
Adding to your energy.
Breathing out,
The energy moves through you.
Your body filling with vital life energy.
Breathing in,
The light gets brighter.
Breathing out,
It fills you more and more.
This is a wonderfully simple and quick technique to bring natural energy into your body.
And you can bring this technique back with you.
Have a little stretch,
A slightly deeper inner breath in and out,
And open your eyes,
Returning energised to the day.
