Sitting down,

Making yourself comfortable,

Feet on the floor,

Hands on your lap,

Taking a nice gentle deep breath in and out,

Closing down the eyes,

Allowing the eyes to release and relax,

And connecting gently to the flow of your breath.

It's nice to drink the right amount of water during the day.

So many of us don't.

We forget,

Or we read advice that says two litres of water is the right amount to drink during the day,

And we think that's a lot.

But if you wake up at 7am and go to bed at 10pm,

That's 15 hours of being awake.

That's one litre of water every seven and a half hours.

And curiously,

That works out as one small glass every hour.

And water is so good for us,

Helping detoxify the body,

Helping our brain,

Building energy.

In addition to this,

There are many times that we believe we're hungry,

And in actual fact it turns out that we're thirsty instead.

With this in mind,

Set a goal for yourself now,

That for the next few days,

On the hour,

Every hour,

You have a small glass of water.

You may be surprised after a week how much better you feel.

Treat your body to the gift of hydration,

And having a gentle stretch now,

A slightly deeper breath in and out.

You can open your eyes and return to the day.
