Taking some time to make yourself comfortable sitting down,

Feet on the floor,

Hands on your lap,

Closing down the eyes and connecting with the breath.

For many people,

Silence is uncomfortable.

So much of our life is filled with conversation,

Noise and thoughts,

Distractions.

Today we're going to spend a little time in silence.

I want you to be aware of your feelings of this silence and notice your thoughts.

And as they pass,

As they inevitably do,

Gently guide your mind back to your breath.

Guiding your mind gently back to your breath.

Good.

There are times where silence is so beneficial.

You can use this little technique at any point,

Eyes closed.

And for the moment,

Just having a gentle stretch,

A slightly deeper in and out breath,

And open your eyes,

Returning to the day.
