Amidst the magnolia's shade, Shadow invites us to embrace tranquility and authenticity while harmonizing with nature's subtle melodies. Explore the colors of self beneath the shadow of societal expectations, where the true hues of the moment await discovery. Written by Ana Johnson, PhD. Narrated by Carmela Rapino. Shadow.

Rest a little under the magnolia tree,

Casting your own shadow so that it may be still and not steal from your joy,

Anger,

And excitement.

Through your stillness,

Sense the sun rays on your skin,

Breeze strands of hair across your cheeks,

And the cold in your feet.

As you grasp the heat of action and reaction of early fall,

Black bowed,

Wide-brimmed straw hat,

White t-shirt,

Chanting a melody without sound,

Swaying without movement,

Not dishonoring who you truly are,

Not plucking your own being out of itself.

The being who craves for the sunset to show you the true color of the moment.

Is it violet,

Orange,

Or turquoise blue?

The shadow of the being of who you are supposed to be.
