Good morning.
Welcome to your embodiment morning practice.
In this meditation you can allow yourself to gently wake up to this new day.
And we'll drop into the body to check in how you are really feeling so inviting you to get into a comfortable position.
And keeping your eyes closed if that feels comfortable.
Begin to drop into the body.
With mindful awareness and gentle curiosity.
Begin to feel any sensations in your head.
Allow your eyelids to rest gently on each other.
Notice if your face is contracting in any way.
Without needing to change anything,
Notice what happens when you bring your awareness to this.
And flow down your awareness towards your throat.
And your neck.
Noticing any tightness or constriction in your shoulders.
Without labeling it as good or bad.
Floating your awareness towards your chest and noticing the gentle movement of your breath.
Bringing in more spaciousness.
And release with an exhale,
Anything you'd like to release this morning.
Notice the breath reaching deeper into the stomach or your belly.
Bringing in space.
And then release out any old energy,
Any stagnation Bring the breath towards your whole back.
Your upper back.
Middle back.
Lower back.
Draw your awareness from your back to your right arm.
Notice any sensations in your right arm from the shoulder all the way down to your right hand.
Left shoulder.
To left hand.
Both arms,
Torso and head together.
And our body speaks to us in the language of sensation This morning we will meet this language.
And listen to what our body has to tell us.
And only you know what this means for you.
So let's meet any tightness or constriction.
Any heaviness with compassion and with space for it to be there.
Notice both hips.
You feel any difference between your left and right hips.
Notice your left leg.
From your upper legs.
Now onto your knee.
To your bottom leg and to your lower leg and all the way down to your left foot.
Notice the language of the body in the left leg.
Any sensations,
Pleasant or less pleasant.
Lastly,
Drifting the focus to the right leg.
Right upper leg.
Knee.
Right lower leg.
Right foot How is your right leg feeling this morning?
The body has a feminine and masculine side.
Notice the left side of your body.
Your left arm,
Left leg.
The left side of your torso.
And lean into what this feminine energy side has to tell you.
The side of receiving.
Resting.
Bye!
The side of receiving.
Of nourishment.
Creativity.
Rest.
This beautiful receptive feminine energy.
This beautiful,
Creative,
Life-giving female.
Energy.
And notice all the sensations on your right side.
Your right arm,
Right side of the torso,
Right leg.
The side of the male energy.
Side of being of service.
Holding space.
Doing.
Giving.
During this practice,
As you're focusing on embodiment,
On bodily sensations,
It's possible that you might hear or see any insights come up.
I invite you here to focus on the breath for the next five breaths here.
Let the focus on the breath gently fade away.
Notice how your mind has become more quiet.
And see if you can continue your intention and see if you can set your intention for this day.
Perhaps you want to invite in more nourishment,
More life-giving female energy,
Or perhaps this is a day for you where your masculine energy takes a stand.
Allow your intention to stir up from the body.
And once your intention has found you.
Let's gently breathe into that.
And fully exhale out.
And gently blink open your eyes.
And fully land back into the space that you are in.
