In this meditation,

We will connect with the power of the sun to fill us with energy and vitality in our day.

To begin,

Take a few cleansing breaths,

Inhaling deeply,

Fill your belly with air,

And then let go of any tension in your body.

Taking another deep breath,

And now letting go of any thoughts in your mind.

Pay attention to any resistance showing up,

And on the last inhale,

Invite yourself to be in this present moment,

Bringing your focus to the base of your spine.

Imagine roots reaching deep into the earth,

Anchoring you firmly into the ground beneath you.

Allow yourself to feel safe and secure wherever you are.

Now imagine yourself in a place that brings you joy,

A place that makes you smile,

Maybe it's the ocean,

A forest,

Or on top of a mountain.

See yourself surrounded by a warm golden light.

This is the sun.

Feel it shining down upon you,

Enveloping you in its radiant glow.

With each breath,

Imagine this sunlight entering your body,

Filling you with vitality,

Energizing every cell,

Every space within you.

As you exhale,

Release any heaviness or fatigue,

Letting the sun's rays burn away anything that no longer serves you.

Take a few moments to continue absorbing the sun's energy.

Pay attention to how it makes you feel.

Perhaps you feel more awake,

More alive,

More vibrant,

Or perhaps you feel surrounded and wrapped up in a warm hug.

Enjoy this moment.

As you continue your day,

Carry the sun's energy and warmth with you,

Knowing that it can be accessed at any time.

Take a deep breath in,

And slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Feel the surface beneath you.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Gently awakening your body.

Whenever you're ready,

Open your eyes and express gratitude for your day.
