Welcome to this water meditation.
Water is your emotions.
It is compassion and empathy.
Water is fluid.
It is creative and private.
Water is connected to spirituality.
It understands forgiveness,
Can let go of the past,
And manages its emotions,
Showing up fully aware of itself and its surroundings.
Today we are going to connect with the element of water.
Finding a comfortable seated position or perhaps immersing yourself in a nice warm bath.
Allow yourself to become still and settle into your body.
Begin to relax and release any tension,
Stress,
And taking a deep breath in and releasing.
Taking another deep cleansing breath in and exhaling.
Visualize yourself in a peaceful body of water.
Maybe it's a lake,
An ocean,
A pond.
You are floating in the water.
The soft and refreshing element caressing your body,
Surrounding every inch of you.
Allow it to wash away the anger,
Fear,
Insecurity,
Judgment,
Outdated beliefs attached to your being.
Waters of life.
With each breath you can feel the water amplifying the energy in all the cells of your body,
Clearing blocks and creating flow from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head.
Bringing your focus to the space between your eyebrows,
You can feel the water unlocking your third eye,
Strengthening your intuition,
So you can be more in tune with your inner guidance and knowing.
Continue to feel the water's movement,
Its peacefulness,
And life-giving energy.
Allow yourself to become one with the water,
Taking in its harmony and patience.
Taking a deep breath in and on your exhale,
Relax into this state.
Now slowly imagine your hands swaying out and in.
Feel the water running through your fingertips and your toes.
With each breath,
Become more aware of your surroundings.
Maybe there are birds chirping overhead,
Or there are other sounds in the distance.
Feel your awareness coming back to the ocean,
The lake,
Or the pond where you started.
Taking a final deep breath in and letting out a sigh as you exhale.
Thank you for joining me today for this water meditation.
Namaste.
