Today we are going to channel our inner strength starting by taking a few cleansing breaths taking a deep breath in and exhaling taking another deep breath in and breathing out now beginning to settle into the present moment and in this position allow yourself to feel a sense of dignity sitting up a little taller perhaps feeling a sense of being complete and whole in this very moment allow that feeling to sweep over you from the crown of your head to the bottom of your feet allowing it to sink into every cell of your body and now i want you to imagine that you are sitting outside and right in front of you is the most magnificent mountain you've ever seen picture its peaks reaching high into the sky its large solid base rooted firmly into mother earth notice how massive and utterly beautiful it is perhaps the mountain that you're looking at is covered with snow or perhaps it's covered with lush green trees maybe its sides are rugged or smooth maybe there are streams coming down the slopes observe its qualities now imagine bringing the mountain into your own body so that you and the mountain become one your head the peak your arms the side of the mountain your legs and feet a solid base with each breath you become more and more the mountain majestic still and completely grounded as the mountain picture all that surrounds you there are changes happening all around day becomes night the warm air turns cold sounds get quieter but through it all you the mountain sits simply observing the change as the mountain you are strong and stable you are calm in the storm you embody unwavering stillness while always remaining your true self you are calm in the storm you embody unwavering stillness while always remaining your true self
