Hello and welcome to this practice to help you connect into your expansive self.

And what I mean by expansive self is the part of you that is free from your human conditioning.

The part of you that is free from limiting beliefs and limiting structures in your life.

This is the part of you that is filled with unlimited potential.

And this is the part of you that can dream big,

Imagine all kinds of possibilities so that you can then anchor that sense of expansiveness into your physical reality.

So sitting comfortably and letting your eyes close if you'd like.

And just taking a couple breaths to begin arriving here for the practice.

And as you're tuning into your breath,

Slow it down a little bit and see if you can begin to really feel your breath flowing in and out of your body.

And your body might be resisting the breath a little bit,

It might be tense or holding.

And so look around,

Feel around inside yourself and see where you might be able to soften.

Maybe the jaw can release maybe the shoulders are lifting up towards the ears,

You can just let them drop.

Opening the shape of your body so that when the breath flows in,

Your body can dance with that breath,

It can move with that breath.

And likewise when the breath flows out,

Same thing,

Your body can dance with your exhalation,

It can move and change shape a little bit with your exhalation.

And when we begin to connect our body,

Our breath and our attention,

We enter into a moment.

And this is a sacred domain where we can tap into our expansiveness.

So from your physical body,

I want you to see if you can begin to shift your attention to feel your energy.

Energy is always flowing through us.

Some people call it life force,

Some people call it prana or chi.

There's thousands and thousands of pathways that run through our physical body delivering this energy.

And this energy then expands out into the space around our physical form.

And so as you tune into your own energy,

Notice how much bigger you become.

See if you can feel your energy flowing out into the space around your body and notice how far out it flows.

Feeling beyond the confines of the body,

Beyond the confines of your mind,

And even beyond the confines of your emotions or your personality.

Letting yourself become big with your energy reaching way out and beginning to align with your expansive self.

And we're going to sit in this space for a few breaths.

And what I'd like you to do is breathe in,

Letting that breath come into the body and then expand out as far as you can reach energetically.

And then as you exhale,

Imagine your energy retracting,

Condensing,

Flowing back into your body and then flowing up and out.

So we inhale,

Draw the breath down into the body and imagine that breath filling up the body and then expanding out into the space around us.

Almost like you're blowing up a big balloon that surrounds you.

And then as you exhale,

Deflating that balloon,

Letting the energy come back into the body,

Reacting to your breath and then letting the breath flow up and out as you exhale.

Repeat that about three or five more times,

Flowing with the rhythm of your own breath.

And then I want you to stay for a few moments with your expansiveness.

So reach way out with your attention to where you feel your energy ends,

The outer boundary of your energetic self,

Your expansive self.

And you're just going to hang out there with your attention.

Breathing slowly and smoothly and maybe still even feeling the ripple of the breath,

The ebb and flow of the breath.

By suspending our awareness out with our energetic self,

Our expansive self,

We're creating a space for integration.

We're holding space for our human self,

Our conditioned self to process,

Integrate,

Digest anything that it's backed up on.

And we're allowing every cell in our body,

All parts of us to vibrate with this expansiveness of ourselves to cultivate a deeper connection,

A deeper alignment with this part of us that is filled with potential and possibilities,

Creativity,

Power,

And love.

So I'd like you to take again,

Three to five more breaths.

Slow these breaths way down,

Feeling your expansiveness,

Your energy,

Feeling how much bigger you are than just your physical body.

And if you'd like,

Before we wrap this up,

You can make a request to this part of you.

You can make a request for it to deliver any pertinent information,

Any answers,

Any ideas,

Any inspiration that your human self may need in this moment,

That your human self could benefit from.

All the answers we seek truly do reside within us.

And by opening up to our expansive self,

The part of us that is not restricted by our human conditioning and limitations,

We can tap in to all that is.

We can tap into so much potential,

So much wisdom,

Unlimited possibilities.

So to close up this session,

If you'd like,

You can just let your fingers wiggle a little bit,

Maybe stretch the fingers long or curl them into the palms.

And then if you'd like,

You could just rest your hands over your heart.

Take a breath in,

Feeling the hands touching the chest,

Offering up a little gratitude to yourself for making time for this practice today.

And remembering as you head out into whatever's next for you,

That this part of you,

This expansive,

Unlimited,

Filled with possibility part of you is always here with you.

It's just a matter of remembering and opening ourselves up to how big we really are,

To how wise we really are.
