Welcome to day six of the seven day breath by breath meditation journey.
Today's practice called breath by breath I am receptive will help open you up so that you can receive all of the goodness that the universe has to offer you.
So please come into a comfortable seat or if you'd prefer to lie down feel free to do so and noticing your breath and noticing your body and noticing how your breath is flowing through your body and see if there are any adjustments that you need to make so that you can feel more comfortable for this practice today.
And then draw in a nice deep breath through the nose filling up and sigh it out through an open mouth and just settle.
Let your body relax feel yourself becoming grounded in the here and now where you are going to open yourself up to receive whatever positivity you need to receive today to feel at your best.
One of the ways that we receive and take in from the external environment is through our sense organs so let's start there.
Bring your attention to your eyes and begin to soften and relax around your eyes including the space right between your eyebrows and then shifting your attention to your nose and relax all around your nose including the inside of your nose and then noticing your mouth relaxing your jaw release the tongue inside the mouth and soften your gums your teeth and bringing your attention to your ears relaxing your outer ears all the way to your inner ears and then lastly begin to sense the skin of your body the outer shell of your body relax the outer shell of your body and imagine all of the pores on the skin of your body are like little noses that can breathe in and breathe out and feel your body your whole body inhaling through the pores of your skin and exhaling through the pores of your skin whole body breathing in expanding and the whole body breathing out and relaxing and we're going to continue breathing just like that in through the pores of your skin and out through the pores of your skin but we're going to do so in an intentional way breathing in certain qualities and then breathing out any stress any negativity any exhaustion anything that no longer serves you before we start that just feel your sense of receptivity right now feeling all of your sense organs relaxed and open ready to receive and let's start with positivity just general positivity this energy this positive energy exists all the time all around us it's just a matter of aligning with it acknowledging it and choosing to receive it so breathing in again through the pores of your skin drawing in positivity and breathing out anything that no longer serves you releasing and just repeat that a couple more times breathing in positive vibes positive energy and in your mind's eye this positive energy might be glowing maybe it has a color see what you see and breathe it in receive this energy and exhaling out any stress any negativity and then shifting and beginning to breathe in abundance taking abundance energy in through the skin of your body filling yourself up with this positive energy breathing out scarcity or anything that no longer serves you do that a couple more times breathing in abundance energy breathing out negativity stress and shifting from abundance to peacefulness breathing in becoming receptive to this positive energy of peacefulness taking it in and breathing out stress fatigue anxiety worry do that once or twice more breathing in the energy of peacefulness letting yourself be touched by it letting yourself be filled up with it and let's do one more breathing in now the energy of love letting your whole self receive this energy feeling it flow in to your body as you inhale receiving it in through the skin of your body through the pores on your skin and letting go breathing out any negativity any worry doubt fear anger letting go of anything that brings you down and we'll take five more of these receptive breaths for whatever else you need you may need today clarity focus confidence power wisdom what will help you feel at your best today call that out and breathe that in all right take one last receptive inhalation and one last releasing letting go exhalation and then release that specific breathing practice and just let your breath do its thing let your breath come in and out however it wants to and notice how you feel after receiving so much positivity from the universe from the world around you how do you feel there are many things that we come in contact with throughout our day some are good for us some not so much know that receptivity is a choice so as you move out into whatever is next for you allow yourself to bring this choice of receptivity with you let yourself be open to receiving the goodness the positivity the abundance that's available to you and at the same time let yourself say no to what brings you down no to what doesn't feel good to you to seal in all of this let's rest one hand over the belly one hand over the chest feel that movement of breath beneath your hands and in gratitude take one last deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth thanks for joining us for this practice have a beautiful rest of your day
