Hello and welcome to this sacred time that you are giving yourself today.

I am so happy you're here and joining me for this practice.

So you can come into a comfortable seat and if you'd prefer to sit on a chair,

Awesome.

If you like sitting on the floor,

Go ahead and grab a seat and you may want to boost your hips up on the folded blanket or even use a blanket to wrap around your body to make sure you're warm and cozy for this practice today.

And if you'd like to close your eyes,

Go ahead and let your eyes come to close.

And in these first few moments,

We're just going to begin settling into the present moment.

And it's nice to start off with a full breath in and breathe in through your nose.

Maybe even letting the jaw release,

Just breathing out gently through an open mouth.

And invite your body to soften.

And just repeat that a few more times,

Breathing in with awareness.

Receiving that breath,

Feeling that breath flow into the body and then breathing out,

Inviting a softening.

Little bit of a letting go as you exhale.

And again,

Just repeat that at your own pace,

Your own rhythm,

Making a connection with your breath.

This beautiful life giving force that is here to dance with us,

Enliven us,

Help us let go of what we no longer need.

And help us feel connected to all that is.

And then we're going to just gently adjust our physical structure to support a little bit more flow of breath.

And so take a moment to feel into your face,

Let your jaw release.

Releasing tension around the eyes,

Across the forehead.

And releasing the inside of the mouth and down into the back of your throat.

And maybe even feeling as though your ears can relax.

As you breathe in,

If the breath could flow right into the space of your head,

Notice if it can do so with ease.

Just imagine the breath flowing into the space of the head and then as you breathe out,

Imagine that breath just sweeping away,

Any negativity in your mind.

Any negativity stored up in the cells of the body,

Just breathing that out.

And then pause with your attention on the breath and smooth the rhythm of your breath out just a little bit.

So as you breathe in,

Just stretching that inhale out.

And then as you breathe out,

Stretching the exhalation out,

Making the transition between the two smooth and seamless.

And then shifting down into the space of your heart and your lungs and your rib cage,

Your shoulders and your upper back.

Seeing what's able to soften and release through this area.

And letting the breath sweep through this space,

Cleansing any negativity that's residing in this area.

Anything that's ready to let go.

As you breathe in,

You may even visualize the breath colored with a certain light.

Let that light sweep through the rib cage.

And as you breathe out,

Breathe out any negativity stored up here.

If you notice that there's a lot of tension or stress or unresolved emotions here,

Maybe as you breathe out,

You let your mouth open and you send the breath out through an open mouth just to further let go.

And as we're working here in this part of the body,

You notice the arms and the hands and bring them in to your awareness as well.

Allowing them to let go of anything they're holding on to that does not serve in your highest and best interest.

And when that feels complete,

Just take a breath in slowly,

Smoothly.

Breathe out slowly and smoothly.

And moving down deeper into your body to the space of your belly and your low back.

And even down into the space of your pelvis.

And as you breathe in,

Begin to really feel how the breath can move down into the space.

Letting the belly soften,

Feeling the belly expand with your in-breath and feeling the belly soften and release with your out-breath.

And taking a few breaths where you are consciously breathing in to sweep through this area,

The low back of the belly and the pelvis.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine the breath sweeping away any negativity that's been hanging out in this area.

And when you breathe out,

Just consciously giving your body an opportunity to de-stress.

When that feels complete,

Just come back to your breath again,

Take a slow,

Steady breath in and out.

Noticing your state of mind,

Noticing your inner energy on an exhalation.

Again just soften throughout your whole body,

Maybe adjusting your posture a bit.

And then lastly,

Just touching into your legs and your feet as you breathe in,

Imagine the breath like a wave of cleansing water that can flow down through the joints of the legs all the way to the tips of your toes.

And as you breathe out,

Invite your legs,

Your feet to let go.

Everything they're holding on to that does not serve in your highest and best interest.

You don't have to work too hard on this.

Just a gentle intention and then just feeling the breath and feeling this part of your body.

And again,

When that feels complete,

You can let your awareness spread back out to your entire body and find a smooth and steady breath.

And I want you to imagine a bright sun hovering right above your head.

And as you connect to this sun that is here just for you,

Begin to feel the light of the sun shining down upon you.

This light is healing,

Rejuvenative,

Nourishing,

Relaxing,

And we're going to let this light from the sun fill up our bodies.

The light of the sun is intelligent,

So it knows exactly where to go inside of you.

It knows exactly what to do to bring you into a state of optimal health and well-being.

Your job is to receive it.

To know that you deserve to be happy,

To feel good in your body,

Your mind,

To have balanced emotions and to experience joy in your life.

We're laying the groundwork for that right now as you breathe in the warmth and light of the sun above you.

Your mind's eye,

You might even see yourself begin to glow a little bit.

You feel as though you have filled up completely.

Let this light overflow into the space around you.

And then let yourself just be in this energy and see if there is a quality that comes to you.

Quality that exists in this vibrant energy that you have just marinated yourself in.

How does this energy make you feel?

What does this energy have to offer you?

And to seal in this gift,

This gift of vibrant,

Abundant healing energy,

I'd like you to take an inhale through the nose and just slowly bring your palms to press right in front of your heart.

Sealing in this energy into your body,

Into your energy field,

Into your heart,

Your mind,

Your soul,

Your spirit.

Take this energy with you into the rest of your day and closing up this practice with an acknowledgement and a thank you to the sun that delivered this special energy to you today.
