In this meditation,
We'll spend some time sensing into our heart,
Our voice,
And our intuition.
Connecting all three places for more ease and flow.
Whenever you're ready,
You can close your eyes and sit in a comfortable seat.
Take a few deep breaths wherever you are.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Long full breath in and a long breath out.
Letting out an audible sigh.
And one more breath like that.
Drawing deeply in and sighing everything out.
Widen the collarbones.
Release your shoulder blades down the back.
Chest open,
Spine tall.
Begin to follow the natural breath and settle your attention inward.
Letting go of sounds and scan the body from head to toe for any tightness or constriction.
Bring your awareness to the center of your brow,
The third eye.
This energy center is connected to psychic perception and creativity,
To seeing clearly and to intuition.
Soften your forehead.
Let the temples spread to either side.
The eyes gently smiling.
Let this portal awaken.
Feeling or sensing a light or warmth in between the brow.
Drawing the breath up into the space between the brows,
Gently.
And continue breathing this way for a few more moments.
And then bring your awareness down to your throat center.
The pit of the throat softening.
Letting the sides of your neck relax.
The throat center is associated with communication,
With your voice,
With speech.
With your mouth closed and breathing through your nose,
Feel the breath in the back of the throat.
Almost an oceanic quality to the breath.
The sound of a gentle wave coming and going.
Let it be easeful.
Continue breathing with your awareness on the throat.
And finally drop your awareness down to your heart center,
The center of the chest.
Associated with love,
To love and be loved.
This is the place where your truest essence resides.
Soften the front of your chest.
Feel the pulsation of your heart.
And now that you've dropped from your head to your heart,
Envision what this space might look like.
For some people it might be more like a cave or a temple or it may even just simply be a single flame burning brightly in the center of the chest.
Take a moment here and fill in the details for yourself.
Let it be vivid and detailed.
Begin to draw the breath from the heart up to the throat and all the way up to the third eye.
Easefully and gently.
And then all the way back down through all three centers,
Landing back in the heart.
Feel or sense the flow between these centers as you breathe into all three.
And as you draw the breath upward,
Trust that you already house all the information you need to heal,
To care for yourself.
And as the breath flows downward,
Remember to love to be loved.
And sense the feeling that you will be thriving in the coming season.
Breathe in a quality of lightness and luminosity.
And breathe out the past,
The heaviness,
The waste,
Whatever energy is no longer needed.
Note the natural pause at the end of every exhalation and taking that next sip of air when your body naturally needs it.
Remember that the breath has its own natural rhythm,
So there's no need to breathe a certain way or hold your breath.
Marvel at the space in between each one,
The timeless place,
The dark space,
The silence in between each breath,
The place where our true nature resides.
This is the place we can act from.
Steady,
Safe,
Calm,
Centered.
Rest in stillness for a few minutes more.
May you find spaces to pause in this month and ongoing and have the grace to allow whatever time you need to come into the next phase of your path.
