Take a moment to snuggle in.
Make sure you're as comfortable as you can possibly be.
If you're in your bed,
Make sure the pillow feels perfect and the covers are just right.
With your eyes closed,
Turn your attention to your breath and just notice the air coming in and out through your nostrils.
Notice the capacity of the air that you're taking in.
Watch it as you inhale through the nostrils steadily,
Slowly.
As you exhale,
Watch the air as it leaves and notice that the sensation of the next inhalation is a little bit cool and that your exhalation is warmer and disappears into the distance like a lazy river.
Take another breath like this.
Now I invite you to open your lower jaw.
Open it wide,
Moving your chin towards your chest,
Feeling a yawn coming on,
Allowing the still air to leave the bottoms of your lungs.
Let the breath settle once again and notice the feeling of the surface where your body is.
Feel it cradling you and supporting you.
Next I want you to imagine roots growing down,
Down through the bed,
Down through the floor,
Through the crust of the earth,
Deeper and deeper into the earth until you reach its core.
As you inhale,
Draw the warm energy up into your body through your roots.
Let it come up and into your heart space.
And now with your imagination,
Fly out through the top of your head,
Through the ceiling and through the roof of the building,
Up into the sky.
And if you want,
You can go past the atmosphere and into space.
This is where universal love energy is.
Let yourself become aware of it.
Now gather in this love energy and beam it down along the path that you flew down through the atmosphere,
Down through the roof of the building,
Through the ceiling and into the top of your head.
Draw that love energy down into your heart and let it co-mingle with the rooted,
Grounded,
Supportive energy of the earth.
Watch as these two energies merge and create a light.
It could be a golden light.
It could have a temperature.
Whatever it is,
Whatever you imagine is perfect.
Now let this light energy expand out into your entire chest and then into your entire body.
Let it fill the room.
And if there are other beings in your space,
Let it expand into them as well.
The beautiful energy of love and the connectedness and grounding of the earth fill you and your entire space.
And notice that you are truly connected to everything.
Now imagine three things that have occurred in the last 24 hours that you are truly grateful for.
Take a look back when you feel a smile.
Be grateful.
This could be something simple like a smile you received from another person,
An interaction with an animal or nature,
A gesture,
Something you ate,
Or a drink of water when you were thirsty.
Feel the happiness in your body.
Experience it.
Notice how the corners of your mouth turn into a little smile.
Next we're going to free ourselves from negative charges.
Imagine the last 24 hours and let a situation arise that you thought in the moment was caused by another person.
It could even bring up a little anger.
That's okay.
I want you to imagine that that person is standing in front of you a safe distance away.
Look into their eyes and feel their energy.
Let yourself experience the sensations that this negative charge created in your body.
Now,
Looking deeply in their eyes,
Ask this person for forgiveness,
Forgiveness for harboring these feelings and still carrying them around.
Feel the other person.
Accept them.
Let yourself see it and feel it.
And let the sensation fill your entire body.
Now,
Watch and listen as they ask for your forgiveness,
For this is a two-way interchange.
Feel the energy shift in your body as you receive the forgiveness and you continue to give forgiveness.
Watch as they absorb it and accept it.
Now I want you to imagine where you want to be in three years.
Quite often when we set goals for ourselves,
We only think in the short term.
We're at the most a year from now.
This can be overwhelming because we often overestimate what we can accomplish in one year.
And we underestimate what we can accomplish in three years.
So let yourself move that timing more distant into the future and imagine what would you like to accomplish in three years.
It's okay if you're not getting a clear image.
You can ask a question and make it a lofty question.
Think about the types of experiences you would want to have,
The types of growth you want to have,
The types of contributions you want to make,
And what it would be like to have them.
A question could be,
What would it be like for me to experience?
And then you can fill this in with your own ideas.
How would it look for me to contribute?
What's it going to feel like to have a long,
Luscious,
Relaxing,
Rejuvenative night's sleep?

An animal spirit,
A goddess or a god.
Feel their love and support.
Sense them giving you a blessing.
And as you drift off to sleep now,
Know that this is going to be the best sleep ever.
