This relaxing bedtime routine involves some easy breathwork and muscle softening. We journey high up into the clouds where a magical adventure awaits. Girls can enjoy of course too and we are working on lovely meditations especially for girls. Happy listening.

Hello beautiful boy,

We are going to prepare you for a lovely deep sleep.

So settle yourself comfortably and close your eyes when you are ready.

Your sensitivity may mean you sometimes find places too noisy,

Too busy,

Too much at times.

Sometimes you might feel like being really quiet.

Sometimes you can feel hurt or worried.

Your sensitivity is very special.

Boys who can express themselves,

Say how they are feeling and be kind to others is very important.

Today I'm going to help you let go and rest deeply so you can get the proper sleep you need and deserve.

I will use some special sleepy words which will help you drift off into a lovely,

Cosy,

Soft place.

I'm also going to use a sleepy voice and you might notice a magical sort of sleepy feeling starting to spread throughout your body.

Your whole body starts to enjoy feeling still,

Safe and settled.

Inviting rest into your entire self.

Every word takes you deeper into a lovely calm.

Some of the time my voice will fade into the background so you can enjoy the music.

Allow your arms and legs to become really floppy and relaxed.

Take a nice deep breath in and out.

That's lovely.

Focus on your breathing for a while.

Breathing in and out through your tummy.

When you breathe in allow your tummy to rise.

Then as you breathe out allow your tummy to fall back to its original position.

As you breathe in allow your tummy to rise.

As you breathe in and out notice the natural pause at the end of each breath.

As you breathe in allow your tummy to rise.

As you rest there imagine relax forms a cloud high in the sky.

Sometimes you see the word relax perhaps one of the clouds makes a shape or form that feels right to you.

There is no right or wrong here so whatever you imagine is just right for you.

Now imagine that relax cloud in the sky gently floats down towards you and wraps you up in a soft safe cocoon.

You feel cosy and calm while this thick puffy white cloud protects and soothes you.

The muscles in your body relax from your toes all the way up into your legs,

Your belly,

Chest,

Back,

Hands,

Arms,

Face and head all settling.

Feels like a cushion of comfort and warmth.

Your body feels so relaxed it feels a little lighter.

It feels like the cloud starts to gently lift you up just a little at first so you are floating.

You might stay here or you might imagine floating up into the sky where that cloud came from.

If you choose your relax cloud friend can take you on a journey all the while feeling safe and secure.

Notice the other clouds in the sky,

The patterns,

The sizes and shapes,

Soft like candy floss.

Notice how peaceful it feels to sail through the white clouds and the blue sky while protected in your relax cocoon.

You find yourself gliding through a beautiful rainbow,

Washing through you these amazing colours moving up through your back into your head.

Red,

Orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue and purple gently cleansing,

Grounding,

Warming,

Nurturing,

Guiding you into a place of balance and harmony.

Your journey makes you feel a little tired so your relax cloud calmly delivers you back to bed where you sink down into the softness of the mattress and the covers,

Grounding down into the earth beneath you like the roots of a tree.

Your relax cloud stays for a while wrapping you up in a cuddled up feeling.

You feel so relaxed and dreamy.

So safe and cosy,

You can't help but fall into a deep,

Magical,

Peaceful sleep.

You can't help but fall into a deep,

This meditation was an absolute gift 💕 This phenomenal teacher conveyed so much love and warmth through their voice, and the selection of music was inspired. I listened with my boy at bedtime, and while he struggled at first, he began to yawn and exhale deeply and then close his eyes. By the end, we were both transported by the vivid and inviting imagery to a deep rest. He fell asleep with his hands over his heart. I was so grateful as I stepped away from his bed. I stood and took in that special indescribable love in watching your child sleep peacefully. 🌌💕 Thank you ❤️

Put my 9yo to sleep! He has a hard time quieting his mind at bedtime and he’s really picky about what he will listen to with regards to guided imagery and music. This one is a keeper!
