Okay,
So just find yourself a comfortable place to rest now.
Either sitting or lying down.
This is your time to rest and it's your time to relax.
And for the next 30 minutes or so,
The only thing that you have to think about is you.
Nobody's wanting anything from you right now.
And nobody's needing anything from you right now.
There are no expectations here,
No demands.
Just some quiet time for you.
To relax completely.
To drift away and de-stress.
And you can begin by taking a couple of deep breaths.
Breathing in through your nose and then out through your mouth.
With every exhale,
Just imagine breathing away anything you no longer need.
Breathe away any stressful feelings.
Any tension.
Any unwanted thoughts or feelings.
Just breathe them away now,
Easily and effortlessly.
Because right here,
Right now,
There's no need to hold onto anything that doesn't serve you.
You can just let it go as you begin to let go completely.
Just allow your breathing to settle into its natural rhythm now.
Breathing calmly and softly.
And so now it's time to relax all of the muscles in your body.
Just starting at the top of your head.
Just imagine all of the muscles in the top of your head just starting to soften.
As they become filled with a beautiful sensation of relaxation.
Just allow that beautiful feeling of calm to flow through those muscles now.
And then down into your face.
As that beautiful feeling flows gently down into the eyes.
Cheeks.
Mouth and jaw.
And if you notice any tension around that area,
Then you can just simply allow it to melt away.
As you begin to melt away now.
Feeling so comfortable,
So at ease and so safe here.
And so just continue to allow this peaceful feeling to flow further down now into your neck and your shoulders.
Flowing into every part of your neck and shoulders now.
Just allow that calm sensation to melt away any tension.
Allowing the muscles to become so soft and so comfortable.
As you start to feel yourself drifting away now.
You can really feel it happening now,
Can't you?
Experiencing those lovely peaceful feelings.
Starting to gently move down into your arms.
Right the way down into every muscle in each arm.
And then all the way down into your hands.
To the tips of your fingers.
Just surrender now.
To all that you're experiencing in this moment right now.
The peace,
The calmness,
The gentle feelings flowing throughout your entire being.
Right now.
You are allowed to enjoy this moment.
These gentle moments of peace.
You deserve to relax in this way.
Because relaxing in this way means that things can get better for you.
And so as you relax even more deeply now.
You know and understand for perhaps the first time.
Just how important it is for you to take time to relax.
Now is a wonderful time for you.
For you to have this special time to relax.
At a very deep level.
Just breathe in a beautiful feeling of calm.
Deep into your chest.
Those cleansing breaths filling your lungs with a deep sense of inner peace and calm.
Then allow that beautiful relaxing feeling to flow down into your belly now.
Just release any tightness,
Any strain.
Just surrender completely.
Because relaxing in this way means that things really can get better for you.
Things can become easier for you.
The more deeply you relax,
The easier things can become.
So drift even further now.
Down into that wonderful place in sight.
Your inner world where everything is calm.
Everything is just how you want it to be.
Continue to allow this beautiful feeling of calm to flow gently into your back now.
Your spine relaxing.
And the muscles either side of your spine.
Feeling so at ease now.
Any tightness or tension can just melt away completely.
As you continue to melt away.
Drift away now.
It's safe here.
So you can surrender and let go completely.
Release your hips now.
And allow that beautiful sensation,
Relaxation,
To move and flow down into your legs.
Right the way down now.
Into your feet.
To the tips of your toes.
So that right now the whole of your body,
From the top of your head down to the tips of your toes.
Is completely relaxed.
You feel so comfortable and so at ease.
So just enjoy these beautiful and peaceful feelings.
As they flow throughout your entire being.
As they calm your mind.
So that everything can become still.
Just like the water of a still lake on a beautiful summer's day.
As everything can just start to slow down.
The outside world can just fade away now.
Because here,
The only thing that's important to you.
Is the soothing sound of my voice.
And the gentle music.
As it calmly and gently washes over you now.
Like a gentle breeze upon your skin.
Taking you deeper and deeper.
To a beautiful place of inner peace.
And you can find yourself imagining that you're at the top of a beautiful staircase.
But this is unlike any staircase you've ever seen before.
Because there's something almost magical about this one.
And you feel that it leads to somewhere special.
It's almost as if you feel that this staircase is here just for you.
To take you to somewhere special.
Somewhere that's almost magical.
And so holding onto the handrail.
You can begin to make your way down this staircase.
Just allow the sound of the music.
To carry you gently.
Down each step.
One step at a time.
Going deeper and deeper.
With each step down.
Just feel yourself drifting even further.
Even further down now.
Into a beautiful state of complete relaxation.
Enjoy this blissful feeling.
Allowing the gentle and soothing tones of my voice.
To carry you safely.
Down each step.
Until very soon you reach the bottom of the staircase.
And find yourself right now.
In the most beautiful garden that you have ever seen.
You almost feel as if you have walked down.
Into a beautiful and blissful dream.
The beauty here is unlike anything you have ever experienced before.
You take a look around at this beautiful place.
Just noticing what you notice.
So many lovely colours here.
Beautiful flowers.
Blooming.
Almost smiling at you.
The trees standing tall and strong.
Yet so calm.
And still.
Their leaves swaying gently.
Moved by the soft,
Gentle breeze.
That is the soothing sound of my voice.
And the sun gently warming your skin.
It's just the right temperature for you.
Because here,
Everything is how you want it to be.
This is your special place after all.
It's your haven,
Always here for you.
To help you to relax.
To drift away and de-stress.
And here you are able to connect with all of the parts of you that are calm and always serene.
And you notice a pond with a gentle waterfall.
The water droplets sparkling in the sunlight.
And the sound of the gentle running water.
Just washes over you.
Flowing further down into that blissful state.
Where your entire being can feel so calm and so at peace.
It's unlike anything you have ever experienced before.
True inner bliss.
And true relaxation.
And right now,
Nothing matters.
But you.
And it may be that you haven't felt this relaxed for such a long time.
Or perhaps you've never experienced feeling this relaxed before.
But right now,
You can go deeper than you've ever gone before.
Because it's safe for you to relax.
You're allowed to let go.
Just surrender.
Absorb yourself with the beauty that surrounds you.
The beauty that right now is flowing through your entire being.
And I will leave you for just a few moments.
To really enjoy this beautiful feeling of complete relaxation.

So that when I reach the number five you can open your eyes.
Feeling refreshed and alert and ready to continue with the rest of your day.
Beginning with one,
Just starting to come back now.

Becoming aware of your surroundings once again.
Three,
Half way back now,
Bring some movement into your fingers and your toes.
Four,
Starting to wake up now,
Bringing back all of those feelings of peace and calm.
And five,
Open your eyes now,
Feeling wide awake and alert.
And ready to continue with the rest of your day.
