Let's begin with a deep breath.
Breathing in.
Breathing for a moment and then exhaling.
Just offer yourself this time now to take this moment out of your day to be present and still.
It's time to disconnect from everything that's going on out there and come home to yourself,
To your centre,
To your truth.
Make it your intention to receive all you need from this meditation here,
To be comforted,
Reassured in a way that feels right for you.
And in a way that brings you home to your centre.
Allow your breath to settle.
Close your eyes and invite the body to relax.
The simple act of consciously intending your body to relax is all we need.
To be able to feel the muscles within relax.
To experience all tension leaving your body.
Making space for softness,
For calm,
For peace and relaxation.
And as you rest there I invite you to imagine laying on a large bed of soft blankets and cushions,
A bed that's designed just for you,
To offer you and your body maximum comfort.
Feel how it would feel to really surrender to the surface beneath you.
To give yourself fully to this moment.
To give up all weight and effort.
Just sinking into the softness now.
Notice how every single part of your body begins to let go even more.
Breathe and surrender to the here and now.
Waves of calm move freely through your body and the soothing sound of my voice washes over you.
My voice is the voice of safety,
Of comfort,
Of reassurance.
And we focus our attention on those words,
Comfort and reassurance.
And I'm wondering what colour those words might be.
Whether they would embody a warm or cooling sensation,
What sound they might make.
How you would experience those feelings of comfort and reassurance washing over you now.
Going through each moment,
Consciously inviting those feelings of comfort and reassurance into your entire being now.
Into your body,
Your mind,
Your emotional and spiritual body.
And I'd like you to imagine that the bed of blankets and cushions begins to curve,
Embracing your body as though you were laying in a soft,
Soothing hammock.
Cocooning your entire body.
Feeling so safe here,
So secure,
So supported and held.
And you may begin to feel as though you are being held by something or someone greater.
This might be a spirit guide,
A guardian angel,
The great mother goddess herself.
Or simply a comforting and reassuring energy.
Just embracing you,
Holding you.
Embracing you in a way that feels so safe,
So nurturing and nourishing.
Continue to notice how it feels.
To feel this secure,
This held and supported.
Nobody is wanting or needing anything from you.
You can give up the hold.
You can let go.
Ask for what you need now and be open to receive.
You can rest here for a few moments,
Trusting that this experience is all it needs to be for you and where you are right now.
Trust the process.
You are receiving healing,
Comfort,
Reassurance and all that you need to feel safe.
Centered,
Grounded,
Supported and held.
You are receiving healing,

And I'll now repeat some special affirmations that can help deepen these feelings of comfort and reassurance.

And now it's time to bring this meditation to an end.

And so when you're ready you can begin to bring some movement into your body.
Simply opening your eyes.
Coming back into the here and the now,
The room or the place you find yourself in now.
Taking a nice deep cleansing breath and ready to continue with the rest of your day.
