Good morning.
Before the mind begins its plans for the day,
Before the world asks anything of you,
Just notice that you are here,
Breathing,
Alive,
Held by this early morning moment.
There is nowhere you need to be yet,
Nothing to solve.
Just rest here,
Awake.
The body slowly begins to arrive,
The breath,
It awakens naturally.
Slowly begin to notice the breath moving through the nose and gently out through the mouth.
Nothing to force,
Nothing to control.
Just breathing with life.
Let the shoulders soften,
The jaw relax.
Feel the body settling into the quiet of this morning.
With every breath out,
You arrive a little more fully into this new,
Early moment.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Breathing in,
And breathing out.
Life moving through you.
This day is not something you have to conquer.
It is something you are invited to participate in.
The divine is not somewhere far away.
It's here.
It's right here.
It's in this breath.
It's in this body.
In this moment.
Let your life be an offering.
Not through effort.
Not through striving,
But through presence.
Today,
We treat each person we meet as God in disguise.
The ordinary moments of the day become small acts of devotion to the divine,
An honor to the divinity above,
Beyond,
Entire,
And an honoring of the divinity within us now.
So rest.
Nothing's rushing this day in.
No effort.
No trying to meditate well.
Just being.
Letting the heart listen.
Letting yourself receive.
Put one hand on your heart.
Put another hand on your belly.
And receive.
And listen.
You'll hear some moments of just the music.
And while you do,
Listen.
Receive.
As you begin your day,
Remember something simple.
There's nothing you must prove today.
Nothing you must become.
Nothing you must accomplish to be worthy of this life.
Just this breath.
Just this moment.
Nothing to do.
No one to be.
You are already enough.
