Good morning,

Look at you,

Awake,

Breathing here.

The world kept spinning all night and you opened your eyes again.

That means you still have purpose.

There is still something for you to do,

To say,

To give,

To live.

Before the day rushes in,

Let's pause.

Let's start with a truth most people forget.

You are not your thoughts.

Your thoughts are weather,

Changing,

Moving,

Temporary.

Sunny skies one moment,

Thunderstorms the next,

But you,

You are the sky they move through.

You are the backdrop.

You are the awareness.

You are the one who gets to choose where you place your attention.

Take a deep breath.

So deep your ribs expand,

Then let it go like you're clearing space for something better.

Inhale possibility,

Exhale old stories.

Again,

Inhale,

Fill up the lungs and the chest.

Think possibility,

Exhale,

Empty belly,

Empty chest,

Empty out the old stories.

One more time.

Inhale,

Fill up belly,

Chest.

Think possibility,

Exhale,

Empty out the lungs,

The chest,

The belly,

Old stories gone.

Because listen,

A thought like I can't is just a cloud.

A thought like I don't know is just a cloud.

A thought like not today,

I'm tired,

Also just a cloud.

Clouds don't own the sky,

They pass,

They shift,

They break.

The sky remains,

You remain.

There is a version of you awake,

Clear,

Unstoppable.

And you can choose to step into that version today.

Not when you're more ready.

Not when life feels easier.

Not when everything lines up perfectly.

Now,

Here,

This morning.

Momentum doesn't come from thinking about it.

It comes from moving.

Even a small step counts.

Especially one small step counts.

Take another breath.

A breath that says,

I'm showing up.

Expand belly and chest,

Feel the expansion.

And exhale.

Picture your thoughts starting to gather.

Maybe an anxious cloud.

Maybe a heavy one.

Maybe the one that whispers,

Be smaller.

Watch them.

Don't wrestle them.

Witness them.

Because you witness them.

You rise above them.

You are not them.

You don't have to believe everything your mind says.

You get to choose what becomes your truth.

And choosing is powerful.

Choosing is revolutionary.

So choose presence.

Choose energy.

Choose to meet this day alive and awake.

I am the sky.

My thoughts are weather.

I choose what stays.

I choose who I will be today.

Let's say that to ourselves again.

I am the sky.

My thoughts are weather.

I choose what stays.

I choose who I will be today.

I am the sky.

My thoughts are weather.

I choose what stays.

I choose who I will be today.

Do you feel the power?

Do you feel the ownership you've gathered up?

That's your soul remembering itself.

The world doesn't need you to be perfect.

It needs you to light up.

It needs you present,

Awake,

Alive in your own life.

So walk into this day like someone who remembers their worth.

Like someone who knows storms don't last.

Like someone who refuses to hand their power to a passing cloud.

Stand tall.

Open your chest.

And let the light in.

You are bigger than the doubt.

You are bigger than the fear.

You are bigger than every thought that tries to shrink you.

You are the sky.

Limitless.

Expansive.

Uncontainable.

This morning is a beginning.

Not a perfection,

But a participation.

Take the next step.

Move with fire in your belly and grace in your hands.

Today is not happening to you.

It's happening through you.

Go with momentum.

Go with faith in yourself.

Go like someone who knows the weather will change,

But the sky remains the same.

I remain strong,

Steady,

Rising.

Dear Allison, I was losing interest and motivation in becoming a nurse coach and your meditation helped me reframe my thoughts and helped me let the “cloud” pass. Thank you for the reminder “I am not my thoughts!”
