Sit upright,
Awake and dignified,
Yet comfortable and present.
Let your eyes close gently and allow your hands to rest gently in your lap.
Feel the base of your body fully supported by the earth beneath you.
The ultimate ground of our creativity is our breath and that which makes our breath possible.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Let your eyes close gently and allow soft,
Deep breaths in and out through your nose.
Feeling the waves of breath gently rippling through your body.
Feel your body relaxing into the chair or cushion.
And if you feel obvious points of tension,
Breathe into those points and let them release.
Inviting your breath to massage away any tension that has made a home in your body.
Let your shoulders drop.
Loosen any tightness in your neck and simply relax deeper into the support of the earth,
Allowing your breath to become calm and natural.
Breathing in the natural rhythm of your breath,
Feel the body deeply relaxing.
Feel the body deeply relaxing and yet awake and aware of your surroundings.
Know that in this moment there is nothing to do.
No proper way to breathe.
Nothing to get right or even change.
Just sit and notice the experience of this breathing body.
Letting all the tension and expectations go.
In the space of creative manifestation,
There is no right or wrong.
Nothing to accomplish.
Nothing to fix.
Simply allow everything to be as it is.
Simply allow everything to be as it is,
One breath at a time.
Allow your mind to rest in an open state,
Letting thoughts be thoughts,
Sensations be sensations.
Just rest here breathing through all that arises and dissolves in heart and mind.
Inviting every piece of you into this moment,
Allowing all thoughts,
All emotions,
All sensations to sit at the same table.
The parts of you that are warm,
The parts of you that are cold,
The parts of you that are asleep,
And the parts of you that are awake.
The pieces of you that feel stuck and fearful,
And the pieces of you that are confident and creative.
Your sadness,
Your joy,
Your anger,
Your bliss.
Invite every layer of yourself into this moment to sit together with full awareness and deep overflowing compassion.
Allowing yourself to become bathed in the unique and natural rhythm of your breathing.
Attune to the reality of the present moment,

Now,
Take your hands out in front of your second energy center.
The sacral chakra,
About three inches below the navel,
Like you're holding a ball of light or energy.
Notice its presence,
Its color or colors,
Its vibrancy,
Its temperature.
Notice how much space it takes up.
Feel the light and the energy pulsing in your hands.
Notice its tangible feeling.
Notice how this ball of color,
Ball of light feels in the palms of your hands.
Feel its vibrancy.
Slowly,
Start to move your hands above the crown of your head,
Still holding on to this bright healing light.
Your hands are holding on to this light so it isn't spilling out.
Feel the crown of the head effortlessly reaching up towards this light,
Inviting it to overflow into your body.
Begin to slowly move your hands away,
Gently floating your arms down by your sides.
And feel this light now moving away from the container of your hands,
Flowing into the crown of the head like a waterfall,
Flowing into every part of your brain,
Your head,
Your face,
Ears,
Mouth,
Throat,
Healing light washes through your entire being,
Your shoulders,
Arms and fingertips,
Your chest,
Your heart,
The spaces between your ribs,
The navel center,
Pelvic bowl.
Healing light washes in and through the thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
Both heels,
Soles of the feet and all 10 toes.
So now your whole body is illuminated with this healing light that you created that came from the palms of your hands.
This healing light you held in your hands that is now flowing through every cell of your body.
Every part of you is pulsing with the energy of this healing light.
Be with this light.
Feel its color,
Its colors,
Its temperature through every part of you.
Feel this light that is a part of you clearing away anything that no longer needs to be held,
Anything that is no longer serving you,
Allowing this light to wash it away.
Body and mind filled with this healing light.
Be with this healing light and simply notice.

Slowly begin to deepen your breath,
Feeling again the edges of your body.
And as you slowly blink your eyes open,
Continue to feel the imprint of your healing light as you move throughout your day.
