Welcome to Day 7 of the Morning Meditation Challenge.
Can you believe it's the last day already?
I just want to say thank you so much for coming with me on this journey,
It's been amazing to share these teachings with you.
And I've loved reading your comments and sweet feedback,
So thank you so much.
And also thank yourself for showing up for doing the work every day.
Hopefully you've noticed the difference in how you feel in your body and mind,
And how you move through your day after meditating.
So in this last meditation I'm going to share a personal favourite.
We're going to move through the chakras using the power of visualisation and affirmation to completely align your whole body and mind,
And create this beautiful space from which you can move through your day with complete ease and clarity and joy.
So start to settle into your chosen meditation posture.
As always,
You can be seated cross-legged with a nice tall spine,
Or you can lie down on your back with your arms alongside your body and your palms facing up towards the sky.
So start to settle into your position.
And ask yourself,
If I could be just 5% more comfortable,
What adjustments would I need to make?
And then go do those things now.
And if it feels good for you,
Close your eyes.
And take a really deep breath in through your nose and let your belly rise like a balloon.
And then exhale through the mouth with a sigh.
And allow your natural breathing to return,
Ensuring that the breath is smooth and steady.
And as you inhale and exhale,
Just imagine any tension or tightness releasing from the body flowing down into the ground to be recycled.
Let it go.
As you start to place your attention on the very base of your spine,
Where your root chakra is,
Just by your tailbone.
As you imagine a fiery ball of ruby red light here,
Burning bright like lava,
Breathe deeply and allow this ball of light to grow brighter and more vibrant.
As you repeat mentally,
I am grounded.
I am stable.
I am safe.
As you move your attention up to your sacral chakra,
Which lies just a few inches below your belly button,
Visualize a shimmering ball of orange light in this space.
Rest your awareness here and allow this to grow and to vibrate and to radiate with each and every breath.
As you repeat,
I am creative and passionate.
And slowly shift your attention up to your solar plexus chakra,
Which lies about an inch above your belly button.
See a brilliant ball of sunshine in this area,
Radiating out this bright yellow golden light.
Allow this ball of sunshine to grow brighter and more vibrant with every breath.
As you repeat,
I am powerful.
And then shift your attention up to your heart chakra,
In the middle of your chest.
Visualize an emerald green ball of light tinged with the most beautiful pink.
Breathe deep and let this ball expand and grow,
Tuning in to all the sensations of gratitude and joy and appreciation that lie within your heart center.
As you repeat,
I am loving.
I am lovable.
I am loved.
Really nice and take your attention up to the center of your throat,
Where your throat chakra is located.
And visualize this beautiful blue ball of light,
As blue as the sky in a summer's day.
Breathe deep and let this light become brighter and more vibrant.
As you repeat,
I speak my truth.
And taking your attention up to the space in between your eyebrows,
Where the third eye chakra is located.
See it as a shimmering lilac ball of energy,
Like a field of lavender flowers,
Vibrating and pulsating and swirling with this beautiful purple light.
As you repeat,
I trust my intuition.
And move your attention up to the very crown of your head,
Where the crown chakra lies.
Visualize a flower begin to unfold and bloom.
Opening up to a thousand petal lotus,
Watch as the white light shimmers and dances,
Tingling your scalp.
Breathe deep and let this flower blossom.
As you repeat to yourself,
I am.
I am.
I am.
And now see all your chakras lit up,
Glowing,
Shimmering,
Radiating with light.
Feel that alignment in your body and mind.
And just allow everything to settle as you rest here for a moment.
Really good,
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale through your mouth,
Sigh it out.
And release your chakra meditation.
Bringing a smile to your face,
You wiggle your fingers and toes and come back to the room that you are in.
Take as long as you need here.
But if you feel ready,
Blink open your eyes.
