When we are suffering in our lives emotionally, physically or mentally there is an opportunity to offer intentions of healing to others which in turn provide enhanced healing to ourselves. Using the power of connecting with our breath, offering healing to someone in our life, we find the unfolding of a beautiful healing process within ourselves. Intention setting for others.

Welcome to this meditation.

This practice we will focus on offering gratitude and offering healing to another so we may in turn receive healing.

You may be familiar with the law of attraction or that like may attract like.

When we offer healing in our practice of meditation to another,

Removing the attention off of self and giving ourselves over and dedicating our time to another person,

Not only is the power of the healing enhanced for them,

But we receive healing back.

Whatever healing you're dealing with today,

Emotionally,

Mentally,

Physically,

Make space and distance yourself from the healing that you need.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position so that the spine is upright and energy can flow and our breath can flow freely.

So whether that be on the floor,

A mat,

A chair,

A couch or a bed,

Bringing yourself upright and engaging with this healing energy.

Beginning by closing our eyes gently and lifting our gaze upward and outward as if there is a mountain range in the distance,

A beautiful sun rising.

And gently observing,

Softly setting our eyes in the space.

Connecting with our bodies,

Feeling for any points of connection with our seat.

Feeling the legs supported.

Taking inventory of anything in the body that is calling for you to move it,

To settle it,

To quiet it.

Releasing tension from the shoulders,

Allowing them to fall away from the ears.

Perhaps you might be holding something in the legs or the hips or the knees.

Send an intention to release and relax.

Releasing any tension that might be in the jaw or the neck,

Either taking the tongue and letting it fall away from the roof of the mouth or bringing the tip to rest at the top.

Energetically reaching from our tailbone through the crown of our head,

Elongating,

Creating this space for this energy in our spine to flow upwards.

Bringing our awareness to the breath,

This powerhouse that lives within us,

That fills every cell with energy.

Notice the belly rising,

The ribs expanding.

Can you sense that breath making its way through the chest and expanding the collarbones?

Follow the breath coming into the nostrils.

Cool on the inhale and perhaps a warmth on the exhale.

Gently observing the breath as it travels upwards in the bridge of the nose,

Filling down the back of the throat,

Filling the belly,

Each lung filling them up.

Oxygenating the blood pumping through the heart,

Sending each cell fuel and energy.

Each breath of air touching every cell in our body.

Notice the breath become an observer.

Can you create space between each thought?

As your mind wanders as it naturally will,

Can you gently bring it back to notice this beautiful breath flowing?

You don't need to control it.

There's no action.

There's just being and observing.

Now that we've created some space in our mind,

Bringing forth someone in our lives,

Someone that you may be close to,

Whether that be a friend or a family member.

Perhaps it's a colleague,

An acquaintance,

Someone in your life that you know that could use an intention of healing.

Whether that be an emotional trauma they're experiencing,

A loss,

A sadness,

A heartbreak,

Financial distress,

Or perhaps it's a physical ailment.

Holding this person in our heart and our intention to offer healing to them.

Imagine a brilliant light emanating from your heart center,

Outwards towards this person.

As you breathe in and inhale the light that you send,

Our intention is,

May you be at peace.

May you be well.

May you experience healing and feel wholeness in your life.

Each inhale and each exhale,

Sending our intention for peace,

Wellness,

Healing and wholeness so they may find joy in their life once again.

May you be well.

May you be at peace.

May you experience joy in your life once again.

Watching this glowing light soar through your body.

Watching this glowing light surrounding them.

Your healing intention offering wellness and ease wherever they may need it.

Inhaling in and sending that light.

Offering up our gratitude to divine universe.

Giving healing to all.

Gratitude that our intentions are heard today.

That those we hold in our heart experience the healing they deserve.

Seeing this person at their absolute best,

Smiling,

Laughing,

Joy and sparkle in their eyes.

Breathing in deeply.

And exhaling a full exhale out through the mouth,

Sighing it out.

Feeling the release of their trauma,

Their physical pain as you breathe in and exhale the release.

Do more at your own pace.

Breathing in and releasing.

Breathing in and release.

Turning your hands to heart center,

Offering gratitude for this practice,

For these intentions of healing to others.

And knowing we ourselves will experience our own healing.
