Welcome to this new moon meditation.

I'm Alicia and today we're going to embrace the energy of the new moon to set intentions and plant seeds for new beginnings find a comfortable position either lying down or seated and let's begin close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth as you exhale release any tension or stress from your body feel yourself becoming more relaxed with each breath bring your awareness to your body starting with your feet feel the connection of your feet with the surface below you slowly move your attention up through your legs your hips and into your abdomen let each part of your body relax as you focus on it continue to move your awareness up to your chest shoulders arms and hands feel the relaxation spreading allowing your muscles to release and soften finally focus on your neck your face and head let your jaw relax and feel a sense of calm washing over you turn your attention to your breath notice the gentle rhythm of your inhales and exhales imagine that with each breath you are drawing in the energy of the new moon a fresh clean slate visualize this energy as a soft silvery light filling your entire being with each exhale you're releasing any negativity doubt or old patterns that no longer serve you or old patterns that no longer serve you let go of the past and make this space for new possibilities now bring to mind one or two intentions you would like to set for this new moon cycle these can be related to personal growth relationships career or any area of your life that you feel needs renewal see these intentions clearly in your mind's eye imagine them as seeds planted in fertile soil seeds planted in fertile soil visualize yourself nurturing these seeds giving them the care and attention they need to grow silently in your mind repeat the following affirmations I am open to new beginnings I plant the seeds of my intentions with love and care I trust in the process of growth and transformation take a few moments to feel the power of these words breathe them in know that you are supported by the universe and your intentions are already beginning to manifest slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment feel the surface beneath you the air around you gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes bringing small movements back to the body deepen your breath and when you're ready slowly open your eyes taking a moment to notice how you feel supported,
