A deeply restorative Yoga Nidra, to help you ignite the feeling of inner radiance. By relaxing the body into deep states of rest, we open the possibility to feel that radiance, to connect with that feeling of being joyfully alive.

Welcome to this yoga nidra that'll help you connect to your inner radiance.
Let's take a moment to settle ourselves,
Laying down in a way that's most comfortable for you as you allow your eyes to gently close,
Letting eyelids softly touch as you allow your eyes to really become heavy,
Letting them sink down all the way towards the back of the head,
Letting the whole face be soft,
Relaxed,
And from that softness within the face,
Allowing the whole body to soften,
To release its weight into the support of the ground beneath you,
Letting it rest,
Letting it just take a step back from all the doing in this day,
All the moving,
Just letting the body be,
Letting it know that there is nothing to do,
Nowhere to be,
You're just here,
Just here laying in this safe space that is your body,
Laying in this safe container that is your yoga nidra practice,
Being open to whatever will arise within this practice,
As you let go of any expectations,
These upcoming moments don't have to feel a particular way,
Have to look a particular way,
Just open to receive the restful states of your body and whatever will come along with that,
Body becoming heavy within that knowledge,
Within the knowing that it has nothing to do,
And just like that sense of effortlessness,
That sense of calm within the body,
Notice that same effortless light quality within your breath,
As you feel its natural flow moving through you,
The rising and falling sensations of your breath,
Simply aware of every cycle of breath as the air flows in and out of the body,
Soft awareness following that beautiful wave-like motion,
Each breath again,
Let's start to move that same soft awareness over the whole body now,
Starting by bringing your full soft awareness into the right thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger and little finger,
Spaces in between the fingers,
Palm of the right hand,
Back of the hand,
Wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Shoulder,
Armpit,
Right side of the ribs,
Right waist,
Middle of the right hip,
Upper leg,
Knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Heel,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
Big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe and little toe,
Tips of the right toes,
Whole right side of the body,
Soft awareness into the left thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Little finger,
Spaces in between the fingers,
Palm of the left hand,
Back of the hand,
Palm of the right hand,
Wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Left shoulder,
Armpit,
Left side of the ribs,
Right side of the ribs,
Middle of the left hip,
Upper leg,
Knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Heel,

Now feel the navel,
The whole chest area and the middle of the heart within the chest area,
The throat,
Tip of the chin,
Lower lip,
Upper lip,
Inside of the right cheek,
Inside of the left cheek,
Upper teeth and lower teeth,
The tongue all the way towards the base of the tongue,
Tip of the nose,
Right nostril,
Left nostril,
Space in between the eyebrows,
Right eye,
Left eye,
Right ear that always folds and grows all the way into the inner right ear and the left ear with all of its folds all the way into the inner left ear.
Feel the space between the left and right inner ear,
Whole space between left and right inner ear,
The whole forehead,
Crown of the head,
Space above the crown of the head,
Back of the head,
Back of the neck,
Right shoulder blade,
Left shoulder blade,
Space between both shoulder blades,
Middle back,
Lower back,
The whole right leg and left leg,
The whole right arm,
The whole left arm,
Right arm and left leg at the same time,
Left arm,
Right leg at the same time.
Feel into the heart space,
Feeling the heart,
Feeling the lungs,
Left lung,
Right lung,
The intestines,
The bladder,
Right leg and left leg at the same time,
Right arm,
Left arm at the same time.
Now feeling the whole body at once,
Whole body within your awareness,
The radiance of your body held within the softness of your awareness,
Luminous body resting here within awareness,
Radiant body filled with sensations,
Radiant body resting deeply into the support of the earth,
Within that deep safety of that support,
You feel the effortless flow of breath,
Just following that natural flow,
Not changing anything,
Just following the natural waves,
The rising,
The falling of each cycle of breath,
So subtle,
So effortless.
While remaining that sense of effortless flow,
Still not changing anything,
We're going to use the breath to move awareness over the body,
So start to bring your full awareness into the backs of the heels and only on the necks,
Naturally arriving inhale,
You move awareness up over the back,
Through the calves,
The hamstrings,
Buttocks,
All the way over the back,
Shoulders,
Neck,
Back of head,
Into crown of head and only as you then naturally exhale,
You soften awareness over the front of the face,
The throat,
Chest,
Belly,
Front of thighs,
Shins,
All the way into the tips of toes,
Until you come back to the backs of the heels,
Inhale guides awareness over the back of the body up again,
And each exhale softens down the front of the body,
And like this,
You continue,
Breathing up over the back,
Feeling that rising sensation in the back,
Softening as breath descends down the front again,
Each exhale,
Cycling the breath,
Cycling awareness around and over the body,
Feel how we're increasing that sense of radiance within the body,
With each breath,
Letting that potential of energy rise with each cycle,
Keep moving the breath up over the back,
Softening down over the front,
Cycling energy over the body,
Within the softness of your body,
We release that expiration of breath,
As you feel it sink down even further,
Into that restful state of being,
That joyful,
Open state of deep rest,
Now feel into the space of the crown of the head,
Just a little bit above the crown of the head,
As you feel or see a beautiful,
Clearing,
White light,
Just above the crown of the head,
That beautiful light starts to very slowly move down into the crown of the head,
Into the head,
That clearing light starts to move and fill the whole space of the head,
And as it moves,
Everything it touches,
It softens,
And by illuminating it,
It clears it of any tension,
Of anything stuck,
That light moving through the head as it clears anything that's not needed anymore,
Clearing light moving further down into the throat,
As it gently starts to fill all the spaces within the body,
Moving down through the belly,
The chest,
The arms are filled and still,
Everything it touches,
Everything it illuminates,
It clears of that which is not needed anymore,
Clearing the body of tension by allowing that light to move into each cell,
Each part of the body,
Full body being cleared by that light,
As you start to feel the body become spacious,
So clear,
So light,
Whole body is now cleared of anything that's not needed anymore,
The whole body is filled with that beautiful,
White,
Clearing light,
Crown of head to tips of toes,
So spacious and open,
So receptive for the new,
And within that openness,
Feel now a beautiful,
Golden,
Nourishing,
Nurturing light just above the crown of head,
And just like that white light,
This nurturing,
Golden light starts to seep into the crown of head,
Move into the whole space of the head,
As it starts to fill the body with fresh energy,
Starts to nourish the body with new,
Authentic energy,
Moving down through every cell,
Every part of the body,
Through the head and neck,
The whole chest,
The arms,
Moving down into every part of the body,
Belly filled with this nurturing light,
Legs filled with this nurturing light,
Filled with fresh,
New,
Authentic energy,
Energy that's authentically yours to hold,
Feeling the radiance of that energy,
Of that golden light that has now completely filled the body,
Feeling the radiance of that energy as warmth radiating in every part of the body,
Body radiating that warmth,
That light,
That energy,
Feel that radiant body in this deep state of rest,
As we'll now explore a set of opposite sensations,
Let's start by awakening what it's like to feel alive,
To feel so joyfully alive,
Fully present with what is,
So engaged,
Aware,
Where everything feels rich with meaning and you feel filled with vitality,
Engaged with your surroundings,
Your senses are heightened,
Emotions flowing freely,
A sense of harmony,
Feeling so alive,
Awaken that sensation as a fully embodied experience,
What is this like,
What's it like to feel joyfully alive,
Now awaken the feeling of being detached,
Feeling numb,
Disconnected from life,
A sense of emptiness,
Of apathy,
Disinterest,
Feeling maybe distant,
Emotionally flat,
Or out of sync,
What is that like within your body,
Feeling this with an equanimous mind,
Now let's awaken both sensations at the same time,
Feeling both joyfully alive and out of sync,
Disconnected from life,
Simultaneously,
Holding both these opposite sensations within awareness at the same time,
Without giving it too much analysis or thought,
What is it like to hold both at the same time within awareness,
Gently allow that to dissolve,
Resting in this space of silence,
Resting in this deep state of relaxation,
As we bring full awareness into the heart space,
Feeling the middle of the heart space,
That beautiful point in the middle of the heart,
And notice a sense of radiance here,
A sense of aliveness,
A radiance of warmth,
Of nourishing energy within the middle of the heart,
You might feel it grow a little,
You might feel the pulsating radiance of the heart,
That warmth,
It's radiating,
Grow a little bigger,
That beautiful loving radiance within the heart,
And from that radiant place in the heart,
The body starts to be filled with sensations of compassion,
Joy,
Gratitude,
Notice it flooding through the body,
Body being filled with that deep sense of gratitude,
Loving,
Compassion,
Joyful being,
Whole body flooded with these sensations,
Resting in this open state of gratitude,
Slowly bringing awareness back into the body,
Feeling where the body touches the ground beneath you,
As you allow your breath to deepen a couple of rounds,
Still fully aware of this state you created within,
This restful state of being,
This state of nourishing radiance,
And within this state,
Very slowly start to bring some movement back,
Maybe just starting in fingers and toes,
Letting the body know that it's slowly time to come back,
While letting it be our intention to take just a little bit of this beautiful state with us into the rest of our day,
